A/N GORE WARNING LATER ON IN THE CHAPTER

George stared out through his window. It was fogged up from the cooler air outside and his breath as his head had been to close. A steady rain fell outside and a grey fog had settled on his town.

The British man's eyes were glazed over, mind filled with thoughts of the rain and life as he knew it.

You got yourself killed!

A voice echoed in the back of George's head and he jumped slightly. Why would be remember that?

What would you have done?

He shook his head again and settled back into his looking position. These intrusive thoughts didn't need to distract George's "time alone" and it certainly didn't help that right below him someone was having more fun than they really needed at 5 in the morning. Didn't people have to sleep?

You should've just left me there.

Once again, a voice echoed in the back of the Brit's head and the young man sighed. He didn't want to remember that day. It hadn't happened but three days ago and poor George couldn't think of a reasonable way to forget. All he wanted to do was forget the day his humanity was stolen and replaced with the coldest feeling in the world.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

"George, come on!" A voice shouted. "We have to make the bus in 5 minutes and we have to sprint as quickly as we can!"

George, who had been lagging behind, panted and started slowing his pace down. He needed to run faster, but to no avail. His friend in front shouted once more "Come on!"

They were both crossing the street at this point and neither one of them had the forethought to look both ways, but instead sprint quickly over the intersection reaching the bus stop in half the time and shaving off about 2 minutes. It was a good plan and it could be done easily with the right execution. It also helped that the light on their side turned red meaning both of the young men could run without having to worry too much about oncoming traffic. That was at least what they thought.

Halfway through the intersection sprint, George noticed that there was a car barreling towards him and his friend. It was a red light, the driver had to stop, right?

As the car came closer at absurdly fast speeds, the two friends looked to their right after hearing the sound of an engine revving. A sports car had been fast approaching as if being chased by the police in a desperate attempt to flee a crime scene. The driver's wheel strokes were erratic and George could make out the dangerous swerves of the car as it neared.

"Dude! We need to move! Hurry!" George shouted desperately at his friend to warn him to sprint as quickly as he could. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough.

"Geor-!"

A sickening crunch could be heard as the front of the car collided with George's friend. Gore sprayed across the windshield of the car, solid masses of skin, muscle, and organs littered the street and splattered on some of the adjacent buildings.

George could only stare at the mess before him. The street had become dead quiet in his ears as the dripping of his friend's blood resonated within his ears and drowned out his racing heartbeat.

"Hey! Your dumbass friend walked in front of my car!" Came the shouts of the person behind the slaughter. His car's entire front had been dented and stained with the blood of an innocent.

George tried to speak. He tried to get the words out of his mouth, but his tongue was stuck to his palette.

"Hey! Are you even listening? Your friend walked in front of my car! What the hell does he have to say, huh?"

Hearing those words, something snapped in George. He slowly turned his head, eyes burning with hatred and tears and standing up, his body screaming to slowly choke the life out of this murder's very being.

Just like how his best friend Dream stalked him in manhunts with an animal instinct, George stalked the criminal with the animalistic rage and with an angry scream, launched himself at the murderer.

"You son of a-!" The man's screams could be heard all throughout the intersection. Suddenly, cars began to stop as people got out of their cars to look amongst the carnage and violence. Echoes of punches could be heard until a sharp bang resonated around the London buildings.

George froze in the middle of his punches and lowered a hand down to his abdomen. A sharp stinging pain was felt throughout his stomach and he keeled over in pain. The young Brit then coughed and with it came the red stream of blood exiting his pale mouth.

"Sorry, kid. You got a little something on your chest." And with that, the murder got back into his bloodied and battered car and sped off through the intersection; people clearing it as he drove off. What could be heard over his revving was the faint sound of an ambulance and police sirens. To George, it felt calming as if he were settling in for a long rest. In a sense, he was. The ground around him was cold, the air biting at what little warmth he could hold around himself.

Turning his head slightly up at the sky, George looked at the clouds fluttering through the atmosphere. He didn't ever make it back to his apartment to record that video with Dream. The poor Floridian was most likely waiting for his friend who would never show up.

George opened his mouth and with what little strength he had left, muttered "D-re-am..? A-re you... t-he-re..? It..s...c-cold..."

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Dream had been waiting in his apartment for George to shoot him a text to let him know he was ready to record. Unfortunately, the text never came and Clay had been wondering if George had bailed for some reason. Just then, a call came in from Snapnap.

"Yo, Dream, have you heard from George lately? I haven't gotten a text from him about recording and I'm kinda worried."

Dream looked out his window from where he sat at his desk. "You and me both, Sapnap."
