The next morning I wasn't convinced that nothing's going to happen so I packed my water gun. It's actually ‘borrowed’, from Cronie. I sported on a plain long sleeved black shirt and a beige denim. I pulled my hair into the usual ponytail.
At exactly 5:30, I stood outside for the bus to show up. I took my usual seat in the behind row where my gang sits. They moved and allowed me to take my usual place, the window seat. It wasn't long before Ashton clambered in. He gave me a smile as he took his seat. I returned it and set my headset over my head. Guess that’s why its called what it’s called.
For Accounts, we had to switch classes. So that means we had to walk to the next building. Anne dragged me into the elevator. I hung my backpack over my shoulder, chewing a bubble gum while singing a song stuck in my head.
The lift stopped halfway and me and Anne sheltered our heads, freaking out.
“MMM...GEDDOFF...MMM...LEBBE BO... EES!”, I had only a few seconds to see that Anne had her hands cuffed with her mouth tied—There was a power cut. Marvellous! Just great! Amazin—
Someone caught my hands from behind. “Wrong move, mister", I smirked, twisting his hands, loosening mine from his grip and I kneed him in the abdomen. He gave a shrill cry. I felt another movement behind me, about to attack me.
“HOLD UP!”, I called out. I could feel everyone frozen. I took out the water gun and asked them, “Just a simple question, please. A wish before I die. I'd like to know your weapons please. Y-you don't hafta speak...prove it. Not on us"
I felt them glance at each other. Two shot the roof with two guns each while the other one used his knife and scraped the door. Anne's terrified muffled cries filled the lift.
I gulped and sprayed them using my water gun. Nowhere down since that's where Anne is. They screeched, rubbing their eyes and dropping their weapons. I pushed them aside with my leg and took a knife and gun as my weapons. I shot the rope and it let Anne free, who freed her mouth. The three were withering in pain, is how I imagined it.
I traced a box on the rooftop and handed the knife to Anne. I kept the gun pointed at them and had them kept threatened. I felt some metal air come in. “You done, September 13th?”, I called out, not knowing what to address her, I just used her born day.
“Successfully”
I felt a rope hit my head making me go “OUCH!”. “Come on up, May 20th! Stop wasting time.”
I gave a kick to each before clinging on to the rope and climbing on top of the elevator. “Liz, may I push this on them?”, she asked, pointing at the big piece of roof she cut. “Sure, I'll help ya"
On the count of three, we both pushed it to the right, making it fall through the hall and land on the criminals. The agonising screams almost made me deaf. My ear is already half-burnt!
Anne urged me to follow her up the steel rope. “Where did you get that rope from?”, I asked her, climbing the steel rope.
“Thought I’d come prepared. Hehe. Anyways, I’m wondering if water is really that much agonising in our eyes"
“What came out from this water gun, my dear, is pepper spray. Nevertheless, I will still be generous and spray some in your eyes to see if it hurts", I grinned at her.
“Imagine me muted"
When we reached the top where we felt a door, I kicked it hard!
“Owieee! I'm never doing that again”, I cried out. “Where's the frickin knife you were holding, Anne?”
“Might've let em haffit. L-lets just shout. Could work", she said. I sighed.
