“That much even I forecasted”, interrupted Scott.
“oh, goodie! So I guess you know the rest!”, Theo smiled sarcastically.
I glare-laughed at him. “Continue before you get awful insults from me and Hazel and a blow from Rachel”
He laughed. “We saw those robots”, he replied solemnly. My breath ditched me. “YOU GUYS WHAT?!”, we exclaimed.
“Starting from first, after you people left, Ian gotta phone call and he had answered it. The man on the other line told him to kill at least us or that he'd come and kill us himself the same way they killed Ian's older sister. That resulted in his little sister jettisoning the world. He wasn't much close to his younger sibling than the older, and that was the girl he'd had in his wallpaper. Well, he agreed to kill us and ended the call. We were prepared for a fight, but he didn’t seem like he was about to fight us. He gave Rafel the metal hook with the rope and he had already climbed up. Then, he quickly scribbled down his email address and told us to hack it. Yes, we were stymied. He told us to head to Sheraton park, not using the usual route. Not even a second, that black man with flaming red hair came in with a fellow comrades, smashing the underground wall, next to the bookshelf. No one had the slightest clue how he found out that Ian was helping us. Ian quickly gambled out the routes in a rough whisper before getting shot by a pistol. He had just a few seconds to urge us outta the place. Two of the collaborators were nuzzling a robot each. I think I heard the man call it ‘Jewelox’ or something before trying to attack us. The ‘Jewelox' were like a feet tall and had electric blue gadgemetic-like workings around it’s silver body. One that stared right at me had garnet eyes… Yes, eyes… I don't think they're something normal…”, Colin recounted the event. No one interrupted him because even the ants were busy gaping.
“The other had ruby eyes…and it was kinda like…you know…staring at me…”, shrugged Theo. “But not JUST staring like staring… like STARING, staring. You know… like STARING, staring...”, blabbered Theo.
“What he MEANT to say, is that they looked at us with KNOWING eyes… Like, how weird is THAT?!”, Colin screeched the last word.
“VERY weird…”, I blurted out, not realizing what came out.
“So… magic DOES exist in this world! Phew! Now I can tell my math’s teacher that even fantasy is real whether imagination or not”, Rachel sighed.
“You’re obsessed with her calling you a fantasy-sucked-demon!”, I groaned as they others gave compliant nods.
“So… Now that we know that ‘aliens’ exist, what next?”, said Mia, not trusting her voice or even believing what she heard. I mean, who could?! Sure, I’m pretty excited, but it's weird that it's actually happening. I feel like I’m in a film.
“Their lair. What else can we do?”, soughed Scott.
“True that”, shook Theo.
“Wait, tomorrow?!”, gasped Rafel.
We looked at him awkwardly as if he had just sprouted six more of each of his body parts. “If not?”, we all voiced at him.
“Listen, we can do this the day after tomorrow. We've been sneaking out a lot. I need some sleep for fish fillets sake! So do you people! And besides, I’m not allowing the boys to take part. We have our football finals tomorrow at 10 night and the whole day, we'll be training”, scowled Rafel. “And as the football captain, I forbid you guys to lack sleep and have a bone or two broken before the grand finale which is the day after tomorrow at the Deldeel's ground. Absolute no”, he protested.
“Oh my God! Speaking of football, I have netball practice tomorrow!”, gasped Rachel.
“And heck! I have cricket! I can’t be tardy as the captain of the team”, cheesed Mia.
“So, you're saying, tomorrow is going to be a holiday for us?”, Hazel groaned. No school tomorrow either. Everyone nodded poorly at her question.
“Are you sure we need to take a holiday? What if they attack us?”, said Sky anxiously.
“You die”, Zepher shook his head at her, disappointed.
Sky glared at him. “Or… you could fight back?”, he bolted.
“Well, then it’s decided”, grinned Anne. “Tomorrow we take our day off. Can we come watch the Football match?”
“Yea… It’s not against the law”, Rafel smirked.
“Which school is it against?”, asked Sky.
“Millington Ridge—”
“Nah! We'll skip! We're better off at the arcade”, I grinned sheepishly. No way am I gonna go anywhere near that school if it isn't for getting down there. The others laughed at my response. “Can I tell my friends about this crap? I feel guilty to… you know…”
“Yea, we're cool with that as long as they don’t go blabbering it to someone”, laughed Scott. “And Rafel, I’m only gonna come for the nine o’clock practice. I need my time with Natalie!”, sniffed Scott indignantly.
“If we lose, I’m kicking you out and might as well band you from playing football ever again”, glared Rafel. Scott rolled his eyes.
