After 12 minutes and 43 seconds, they showed up. The fair Ashton, tanned Theo and his bearded big brother. They laughed gazing at our state and gave me and Rachel each a nice wooden stick. They had our bags slinged over their shoulders.

“You’ve grown”, Rex chuckled at me and pulled Ashton to his side, pointing his index finger at him. “When I first saw this fella, I nearly mistakened him for a long lost brother of yours”

“Maybe we are!”, I giggled making Ashton guffaw at my statement.

“If we are, I’ll hope that we aren’t found out soon enough. I can’t bare the thought of having to go through all her hoaxes”, he smirked making Rachel agree with him so awfully. I laughed at them.

We used our ‘walking sticks' and half-limped to Rex's silver car. I sat in between Rachel and Ashton while Theo took shotgun.

“Rex, drop us at grandma’s, please”, I told him.

“Grandma’s?”, he and Theo questioned in confusion.

“Yeah. We’re going over to our friend's house from there”, Rachel informed him.

“How about I drop you guys off at Colin's?”, Rex chortled.

Me and Rachel glared menacingly at him. “Try so”, we growled in a low threatening voice that made Rex stop his laugh and gulp hard.

After he dropped Ashton, we went to Brasserie Zédal for lunch. Man! Their Steak Hache was damn! Ile Flottante was another terrific dish. We had Chocolate Torte for dessert. For those who haven’t been there, I personally recommend you SHOULD try their Steak Hache.

Rex paused his car near their house driveway. “Thanks! See you people after!”, me and Rachel beamed at the brothers and initiated our walk to the down slope stairs two house after the Brooke's with our ‘walking sticks'. My grandmother is definitely gonna freak out!

We limped down the staircase that led to a big place with seven houses and a play area. Everyone in Vesper are somehow related. Like my mom and Rachel's mom whom are both from Vesper. Colin's dad, Zepher's mom, Theo's dad too.

I hopped using my weak right leg, all the way to the bright pale white house. Down the stairs, I have no cousin sisters. But if you count the whole Vesper, I have Layla. She's 13.

“MOVE!”, I heard a screech from behind. I spun around to see Carter almost about to crash his bicycle with Rachel. He made an unplanned drift, crashing with the brick wall that separated the Aidan's family from a few others.

“OMG! Carter!”, Rachel yelped in surprise as she staggered towards him, helping my cousin up. He was rubbing his elbow and when he was done, he turned to look at us.

Carter’s 16 years old and his dad’s my mom's oldest brother. Carter’s golden brown hair needed a cut! It was getting really messy. He wore big classy spectacles like Rachel’s and his cerulean eyes were widened in surprise.

“W-what are you guys doing HERE?!”, was what left his mouth. “And when did you guys turn hundred?”, he snickered, helping his bicycle to the garage.

“Where's your mom?”, I asked him, ignoring his method of greeting us. “Wedding”, he replied grimly
.
“Well, is your grandma home?”, Rachel asked hopefully even theough she knew the answer.

“No adults. Just me, my three brothers and our two other annoying brat cousins who're inside our house”

“Heck no! I don’t wanna walk all the way there!”, I protested, looking across at the bright red house.

“You’re free to stand here all day if you wanna”, he smirked, leading us to his house.

“How’re we gonna go?”, Rachel whispered. “Get one of ‘em to drive us there”, I sighed involuntarily.

I opened the door and soon wished I hadn't! I came face to face with a six feet tall idiot whom I can never seem to understand. He’s a beast and yes, your guessing is correct. Colin. The one and only.

He scrunched up his face, about to say something but thought better not to. Not in front of my cousins anyway. He let us in.

“What the F is this douchecanoe doing here?!”, I asked Carter in a ferocious whisper. “Yeah! What the hell is this shithead doing here?”, Rachel swore angrily.

I didn’t go in. “Carter, phone Colson, please. We have to go to Sky's”

     He nodded, doing as told.

After thirty minutes, we were in the lane that leads to Sky's. In Springfil, Vesper's neighbouring village.

“Thanks Col”, I grinned at my cousin, fastening my backpack over my shoulder, following Rachel to the three-story house that was really big and the outside was decorated with beautiful grey and white tiles. They had a mini playground built for Zoe. We passed the black roller gates and I purposely rang the doorbell twenty-six times till Sky, Hazel, Anne and Mia were all standing there with the door open. They gaped at our circumstance.

“Fight with Violet and the other—“, Rachel turned to me to complete the sentence for her.

     “Bitches”, I ended.

“Language... Liz... What... On... Earth...”, Mia stumbled on her words.

“I’m gonna kill her!”, fumed Sky, face red with hostility.

“Give me my orders”, Anne muttered, equally outraged.

“Dig their graves first”, huffed Hazel.

“On it! Sky, where do I get a shovel from?”

“Probably in the basement. I’ll help you”, Sky muttered with a clenched jaw.

“Shall I prepare the poison?”, I raised a question.

“I'll help you with that. Maybe we'd end up formulating a Nightlock berry like the ones that Peeta found in the Hunger games. Drop dead on the first mouth”, Rachel grinned.

“Or maybe we'd end up fabricating an actual magical wand so we can Crucio them to death”, I added.

“That’s very thoughtful”, said Mia. “Come on in. We'll try finding something to heal your wounds first. I remember some for a few”

“You’re an apple from heaven, Mia!”, Rachel wailed, gratified.

“Uh... Okay?”, she made it more of a question than an answer.

We welcomed ourselves in and I immediately reached for the fridge, plopping two cherries in my mouth. I love cherries! There were 8 big lollipops lined in the egg holder. I chuckled, feeding myself chocolate yoghurt that was most probably Zoe's. It was raining heavily and Sky told us that it was just us in the house. We told them about Luke's explanation and made a plan after discussing it with a few people.

Mia and Sky wielded their wisdom in Health to prepare a herbal medicine for our ankles. Fortunately, the pale russet cream worked on our ankles just great! The bleeding stopped and the pain ebbed away slowly with half an hour and they used a few other creams and stuff to diminish the cuts and wounds which all worked. Of course, the Science genius and Health genius put together can even equal to a herbal clinic.
