CHAPTER 31

“And that's the end…”, I finished off the story. My neighborhood friends were gaping, seated in the open of Marble Woods and I was on the rock, narrating my current shoddy life. It was just Bella, Eva, Shimmer, Zeke, Lukas, Rowan, Remy, Kim, Elizabeth, Jeremy, Felix, Ashley, Casy, Nick, Tina, Volg and Cheryl. Lol. Big gang? Yea, I know.

“I… You… Y-y-you… l-life…. The…?”, Vlog tried putting his shock into words but he was too in shock to actually do that. I nodded, laughing upon the looks my story had casted.

     “You’re kidding me…”, mused Tina.

     “NOT!”, I laughed again.

      “B-b-but… that's like… fiction!”, tried Lukas.

“I know! I’m glad you people think the same! Pretty unbelievable, isn’t it? I’m not sure I believe it myself”, I said, looking up at the twilight sky.

“When you put it like that, it’s hard not to believe you!”, boycotted Zeke.

“Seriously? You're believing me? Even I don’t believe it!”, I rebelled.

“Okay then, I officially believe it. If there’s something you can’t believe, then it’s most probably something we can believe”, sneered Felix.

“I still can’t seem to understand life”, mumbled Ashley.

“Agreed!”, Cheryl, Tina, Jeremy, Eva and Remy nodded their heads solemnly.

The rest of the day, we spent our time together, irritating other neighbors and fishing and biking and by the end of the day, I realized I didn't meet my friends at the arcade. Like hell, they're gonna kill me!

And 346 missed calls is like… they've already dug my grave.

I checked my Instagram account and damn! The juniors lost 12 to Millington Ridge 36. MUA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA! I already predicted the juniors would lose. HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!

Bella gave me a funny look. “Um, Liz, why are you laughing like a villain? Don't tell me you thought about burning a bug again!”

“That was one time!”, I exasperated. Yes, one time I burnt a beetle to see if it'd scream. You can thank Andy Biersack for that idea, thank you very much. I also checked to see if the mailman was a bug. That didn’t turn out very well though. He kinda… called the cops on me. And the police kinda came to my house… Hm… That was a fun day.

“You need to stop watching those vlog things”, sighed Nick.

“WHAT?! Stop watching Andy Biersack's vlog? That's crazy talk!”

They rolled their eyes at me and I scrolled down to see Summershine's senior victory posted by everyone. 16-17. So they managed, huh? I never had that much of this thing called faith in them. Well, at least I know that in the Grand Finale they'll lose against Jarold High.
