"BRRRRRIIIIINNNNGGGG" the shrill ring of my alarm clock pulled me out of a dreamless sleep as I sat up and rubbed my eyes. "Shut up you stupid thing" I said pushing it off the side and picking up my phone. "Oh shit!" I said jumping out of bed and running into the bathroom as I skidded across the wet floor and into the side of the bath. I pulled my pjs off and climbed into the shower quickly washing myself and climbing out. "Youre going to be late again" my girlfriend ellie said standing in the doorway in just my t-shirt, "I know. May I just say you look ravishing this morning" I said trailing kisses up her arm as she giggled and kissed me.
"Why thank you kind sir" she said laughing as she slapped my butt as I walked past. I quickly towel dried my hair while I hopped about pulling on my black skinny jeans with the ripped knee. I pulled my top on and then my boots as I quickly outlined my almond shaped brown eyes with back kohl eyeliner. My hair just isnt cooperating this morning as I growled angrily at it and left it curly. "Go make some sweet music baby i'll see you tonight love you" ellie said as I swung her round and kissed her before running downstairs and into my battered old fiesta.
Once I arrived I parked my car slamming the door shut before I ran into the lobby of the hall, "room 120 mr ratliff" the receptionist said as I thanked her and ran past her. I glanced at my watch and saw I was only like 5 minutes late as I burst through the double doors as 3 pairs of eyes stared at me. "Youre late again" ashley said crossing her arms, "only like 5 minutes" I said. "Yes for the 3rd time this week"she answered, "oh leave him alone ash hes here now thats all that matters" a voice said as long fingers with black nail varnish touched my shoulder.
"Hey kitty" adam said smiling at me his blue eyes filled with a hint of amusement. "Hey babyboy" I replied smiling, "stop flirting with him adam lets get on this!" monte chipped in as adam chuckled and playfully pushed me. "Well what can I say hes a pretty kitty" adam teased as I rolled my eyes and followed him onstage. I quickly tuned my guitar and started playing the chords to for your entertainment, adam stepped up to the microphone and filled the room with his powerful voice.
I swear no matter how many times I hear that voice it always leaves me awestruck, even just rehearsing he always gives it everything. Its pretty amazing to watch, we start our glam nation tour tomorrow touring london and america for about 4-6 months its pretty intense. "Ok next song" monte said signalling the start of fever, I watched adam strut across the stage towards me and put his face close to my face so I could feel the heat on my cheeks and smell the mintyness of his gum before he ruffled my hair and winked.
After a good 3 hours we took a break, "so hows things with ellie?" adam asked biting into a cheese sandwich while swinging his legs next to me. "Good thanks im going to ask her to marry me when we get back from the tour if shes still with me" I laughed. "Course she will be your a catch tommy" he replied, "funny guy so hows things with your boyfriend sauli is it?" I asked.
"Oh yeah that well you know" he said running his fingers through his hair, "whats happened?" I questioned. "Nothing its fine really" he answered, "dont make me tickle you" I warned. "You wouldnt dare" he said as I dived at him and tickled him, he fell onto the stage as we rolled around the floor laughing. "Ok I give in i'll tell you" adam spluttered in between laughs, "spill the beans" I said as he sat up and stared off into the chairs. "Sauli and I am ex-boyfriends now" he told me, "you broke up with him?" I asked. "No he broke up with me other commitments apparently" he said quietly.
"Damn im really sorry to hear that" I said as he kept his eyes on the chairs, "thanks but its ok" he said. "Adam look at me" I told him as he shook his head, "adam mitchel lambert look at me right nowor so help me god I will lick your face"I said. A soft laugh escaped his lips as he turned towards me, his eyes were glazed and mascara was trailing down his cheeks. "Come here you" I said holding open my arms, he moved closer and fell into them hiding his face in my black queen hoodie.
"I loved him tommy really I did and he just broke my heart like it was made of glass, he just left" he sobbed into my jumper as I gently rocked him and stroked his hair. That sauli has a lot to answer for, this isnt the first time hes done this to adam the guys an asshole I swear down. Eventually everyone filtered back in as adam wiped his eyes with his sleeve and stood up, he sniffed and smiled at them.
Thats adam hes a good actor, he can make them think hes fine. "Hey good break?" he asked as ashley looked at him, "yeah thanks have you been crying?" she asked suspiciously. "No Im getting a cold" he replied as I stood behind him, "ok the next song is soaked" monte said as everyone turned round and picked up their instuments. I handed adam a tissue, "eyeliner cheeks" I said tapping his face and sqeezing his shoulder. "Thanks tommy for everything sorry about your jumper" he said pulling out a mirror and wiping the black smudges away.
"Its ok, are you ok with doing this song?" I asked, he nodded and gently bit his lip before I headed to pick up my guitar. We started to play the chords to the song as adam started to sing, anyone could tell he was hurting fromt he way he sang. The song was full of raw emotion as I shot him a reassuring smile when he turned round, as I heard his breath catch as he bit down on his lip harder and eventually finished the song. Once we had finished rehearsing he disapeared into the room where all our things were, I watched him go wishing I could help make things better.
It hurt to see my best friend hurting like that, "whats up with him?" ashley asked appearing next to me. "I dont know I think that song kind of means a lot to him" I answered, "maybe we should see if hes ok" monte asked. "No i'd give him a bit of time i'll go find him in a while" I said, "ok then lets hit the bar" monte said as they headed into the bar inside the hall. I packed my guitar away and followed them, looking back towards where adam was and sighing.
