I walked down the hallway and stopped outside the room where all our things were, listening outside I heard silence. I knocked on the door but got no reply as I gently pushed it open, the only light in the room was a beside lamp. Adam was laying face down on the couch with his face buried in a pillow, gently snuffling sounds came from him followed by shaky breaths as I realised he must be asleep.
I gently pulled the pillow away from his face so he could breathe as my phone rung, he stirred in his sleep as I pulled my phone from my pocket. "Hey baby" ellie said, "hey whats up?" I asked. "Your mom rang, she asked if we want to go for dinner round hers tonight I said I need to ask you first so what do you think?" she asked. "Yeah sure sounds like a good idea, I should be home soon we are just finishing up here but I need to wake adam up first hes zonked out on the sofa" I explained.
"Is he ok? Hes not sick is he?" she asked, "no just a rough day i'll tell you all about it when I get home" I said. "Awesome well ok then babe i'll probably be in the bath when you get in so yeah i love you" she said. "Love you too beautiful" I replied as she put the phone down, I heard another phone ring as I searched for it. I found it thrown to the floor by the bags, picking it up I looked at the caller ID.
It came up as my bae and a picture of sauli, urgh what the fuck does he want? It stopped ringing as a list of 8 missed calls flashed up all from sauli, there were texts aswell like the begging kind. Im sorry I hurt you it just wasnt working, blah blah blah this guy just wont give up. Ashley and monte came up the corridor as I turned round and looked at them, "hey whats up?" ashley asked looking down at adams phone in my hand. "That prick sauli was ringing him, I didnt want to wake him so I put it on silent" I said.
"Whats Sauli done? Have they had another argument?" monte questioned, "not exactly you'll have to ask adam" I said. "We will but we need to wake him up the driver is here sauli can wait" ashley answered, monte picked up the bags as ashley gently shook adam. He mumbled something and rolled over looking up at us, "hey come on lazy bones the driver is here" ashley said. "Oh right ok" he said quietly stretching and standing up, "here sauli rung" I said handing him the phone as he turned it off and tossed it into his bag.
"Fuck him" he said clearing his throat, ashley and monte were a litle ahad of us as I looked at adam. "So what are you going to do about him?" I asked, "forget about him I guess. I mean it was good but he doesnt want me anymore so I just need to deal with it. This tours is whats important now" he said. "Wow thats pretty brave, are you still going to sing soaked? I mean you cant stop the tears forever" I asked. "I dont know I might cut it from the set list, noone can know about this though people cant see me like you do" he answered.
"Ok I get it but the guys are asking questions they will be pretty pissed if you dont tell them" I stated, "I know i'll tell them when the time is right I promise" he said as we reached the car. "Ok well im that way" I said pointing to the left, "ok well the car will pick you up at 6am" adam said. "Yeah sure" I replied, "awesome well drive safe and thanks" he said climbing in the car and waving as it pulled into the traffic.
I climbed into my shit heap car and drove home, I unlocked the door. "Hey elle im home!" I shouted but got no reply, I headed upstairs in search of her because she told me she would be in the bath. I pushed open the shower room door but she wasnt there, I walked in the direction of our room when I heard a noise from the toilet. It sounded like someone being sick, "ellie are you ok?" I asked pushing open the door getnly.
She was knelt down in front of the toilet as I rushed over to her, "tommy go you dont have to see this" she said. I pulled her hair back and rubbed her back, when she was done she flushed the chain as I helped her stand up and sit on the toilet seat. "Here drink this" I said handing her a glass of water, "thanks sorry about that must have caught a bug" she said quietly. "Well I can ring my mother and tell her we wont be round if you like" I suggested stroking her face.
"Would you mind terribly? I feel vile" she said, "Nope course not we can stay in and watch movies" I said. "That sounds good oh babe youre the best" she said as I helped her up, "sit down i'll go call my mom" I said as she sat on the sofa. I went into the kitchen and dialled my moms number "hey tommy where are you are you coming?" she asked, "well no ellie has some kind of bug I think its best if we stay in" I said. "Ok well we can do it another day maybe when you get back from tour look after her honey kisses" she said putting the phone down.
I shrugged and poured out some water for ellie and orange for me before walking back into the front room, "velvet goldmine?" I asked as she nodded. I put my arm around her as she cuddled into my chest, pulling the blanket up I pressed play on the dvd player. The movie eventually finished as I looked down at ellie who was snoring gently with her fingers tangled round mine. I sighed and scooped her into my arms switching off the light with my nose and carrying her upstairs bridal style.
I slid her nightdress over her body and placed her in bed, she mumbled and rolled over. She cuddled the pillow as I undressed and climbed into bed switching off the bedside lamp and falling asleep/
