Feelings

LAUREN'S POV:

"Lisa, I don't think I can tell her that I like her, what if she doesn't feel the same way?"

It takes all of my power to pretend I'm still sleeping. Lisa gives her some advice and Y/N climbs back into bed. I quickly move to a position that I normally sleep in, so she doesn't know I heard her.

I stay as still as I can, until I hear Y/N's breathing steady. When I know she's asleep, I leave my bed, careful not to wake her. As soon as I leave my room, I go find Lisa. I walk towards the kitchen and see her sprawled out across the couch.

I walk over to her and nudge her shoulder.

"What?" Lisa groggily sits up, rubbing her eyes.

I nudge her harder, and slightly shake her.

"Ok, ok I'm up! What do you want." Lisa sends a tired glare to me.

"Lisa, Y/N just said she had feelings for me!"

Lisa's eyes widened and she smiled.

"Really? She told you?"  Lisa asked.

"No, I heard her talking to you." My voice was hushed as I pointed at Lisa.

"Oh, yeah. About that.." Lisa trailed off.

"Well? Is it true? Does Y/N actually have feelings for me?" My heart raced as I waited for the answer.

Lisa looks around the room, to make sure no one is listening. Which seems pointless at 4 a.m, but she did it anyway.

"Ok, I probably shouldn't be telling you this, but you technically didn't hear it from me. You heard it from Y/N. It's true, Laur!" Lisa smiles excitedly and puts her hand on my shoulder.

I take her hand off my shoulder and get an anxious look on my face.

"Lisa, what do I do?"

"Well...do you like her back?" Lisa questions.

The question takes me aback.

I mean, do I like her? No, no that's impossible I like boys. But....Y/N..she's so pretty. And her hands are so soft. And her hair is so-

Lisa taps me and snaps me out of my deep thought.

"Uh, Lauren.." Lisa trails off and smirks at me.

"What, Lisa?" I look at her questioningly and get slightly annoyed.

"You said that out loud." Lisa starts quietly laughing and my face turns bright red.

I look down to the ground and try to think of what to say to get out of this.
I struggle to form words and Lisa can't stop laughing.

"No, Lisa, t-that's NOT what I m-meant." I stutter trying to find a valid excuse.

"Sure, sure. You didn't mean it like that." Lisa gives me a sarcastic look and puts her head in a pillow to keep herself from laughing too hard.

I sit down on the couch and fold my arms, pouting about what I just revealed.

LISA'S POV:

I bring my head up from the pillow and see Lauren pouting in the corner. I scooch closer to her and put my arm around her.

"Lauren what's wrong?" I asked while chuckling.

"Lisa, I'm so confused. Up until I met Y/N I was sure that I only liked boys. Now....I don't know. It's all so overwhelming." Lauren buries her head in her hands and I can feel my heart break for her.

I put my finger under her chin, gently raising it to look at me. She has tears forming in her eyes, that were very close to shedding.

"Lauren, it's ok. I understand that this is very confusing for you, but I'm here for you. Whatever you need, I will be there, because I love you, Ladybug." I pull her into a hug and can hear her sniffling. She pulls away and gives me a soft smile, with a tear falling from her cheek. I wipe it away and my eyes soften, wanting to comfort my confused baby sister.

"What do you think I should do, Lisa?"
Lauren asks.

I don't answer her right away, because my mind is trying to think of what to say.
I finally take a breath in, and tell her what I think she should do.

"Lauren, I think you should do what ever you think is right. There is no right answer, only what you want to do." I give her a small smile and she looks at me and returns it.

"Well that is very different than the advice you gave Y/N." Lauren chuckles while she calls me out.

"Ok so I want you guys to get together, sue me!" We both laugh as I take her hand. I bring her up from the couch and lead her to her room.

"Ok, now please, get some sleep and stop interrupting mine." We both say goodnight and I watch as she slides back into bed next to the sleeping Y/N.

LAUREN'S POV:

I climb back into bed, next to Y/N, as I watch Lisa walk back to the living room. I look over at Y/N, watching her peacefully sleep. So many thoughts run through my head, but I silence them, wanting to take in the moment. I snuggle up a little closer to her than most friends would, and try to get some sleep.

Y/N'S POV:

I wake up for the second time, and look through the window. The sun is shining and the birds are chirping. I laugh to myself at how cliche that is.

I look over to the other side of the bed and see Lauren sleeping. She has her mouth slightly open and her head resting on her hands.

She's so cute. Wait no, no she's not. She's not cute. She's my friend. Ok Y/N you have to remember she's your FRIEND.

I have to keep reminding myself that I cannot feel anything towards Lauren. I made the decision to keep my feelings to myself. I can't risk losing her if she doesn't feel the same way.

I lightly shake Lauren and she stirs in her sleep. She rolls over so her back is facing me.

"Ok, I'll try again later, Lauren." I whisper to myself as I walk out of the room.

I'm met by Christina, Dani, and Lisa, who all turn to stare at me. I see Lisa with a big smile on her face as soon as she sees me come out of Lauren's room.

"Goodmorning, Y/N, sleep well?" Lisa asks trying to contain her laughter.

"As a matter of fact, I did, Lisa. Thanks for asking." I sit down at the table and lightly stomp on Lisa's foot. She looks up at me and quickly quiets her laughter.

Dani looks at us with a confusion, so I get up from the table not wanting to explain. I look around the kitchen for something to eat, before ultimately deciding on cereal. I grab a bowl and a spoon and sit back down at the table.

I look and see that Dani is eating Apple Jacks, Lisa is eating Froot Loops, and Christina is eating Cheerios. I look at all of my options and decide on Froot Loops. I grab the box while Lisa smiles at me. I pour some into my bowl and start having a conversation with the sisters.

"Oh, Dani, I almost forgot! I need you to record your vocals for our cover later today." Christina says and writes something down in her phone. Dani nods and goes back to eating her cereal.

I look up with a confused look on my face and Lisa seemed to notice. She widened her eyes as she realized what Christina had just said.

"Wait, cover? What do you mean?" I ask looking at all of the sisters.

Christina and Dani look up, with panic on their faces. They all start talking and the same time, each stammering and trying to come up with an excuse. None of them wanted to reveal what Lauren had been trying to keep hidden.
