Chapter 45

"Fuck this!" Y/N screeches, hands pulling at his/her/their hair. "I really shouldn't go there!"

       Y/N sighs, deciding to sit down, leaning over his/her/their knees. "Besides they probably couldn't do anything to them."

      "Except they would probably find some way to hurt them," Y/N whines. "They did that to me my entire life. I wouldn't put it past them to do something."

           "They shouldn't have this much goddamn control over my life!"

           "I'm not going!"

            "I'm going!"

             "I'm not going!"

             "I'm going!"

              "I'm not going!"

          "Jesus Y/N," Y/N mutters to him/her/their self. "Get yourself together."

        Y/N just groans, standing up and heading into the kitchen to grab some coffee/tea. Once the drink is made, Y/N chugs it down, sighing once it's done.

"Alright lets look at the options," Y/N practically growls. "Option 1.) I go back home for a few days or so with my hella abusive parents and quite possibly not leave the house breathing. Or option 2.) I completely ignore the nice and sympathetic bone in my body and stay here, with my loving soulmates who have been worried as fuck since my parents came home."

"And honestly I'm loving option two currently," Y/N sighs. "And now I'm talking to myself like a crazy person. Good job Y/N, 10/10 on your part."

Y/N heads up to Jongho's room, where his/her/their stuff is currently and lays down on the bed, letting out a drawn out groan. "Why is this even a hard decision for me. It's obvious that I should stay here. I really wanna stay with my boys. It's the best option."

Meanwhile with the Ateez members ~

"Hey do you think Y/N is doing okay since he/she/they left?" Jongho asks once they get another break from practice.

"I think he/she/they may take a while to be fully okay," Hongjoong sighs, gloomily.

"But I think for now, Y/N is as okay as he/she/they can be." Yeosang finishes for him, softly.

      Yunho pauses. "We really should have tried harder for a day off."

       "Y/N is a strong person," Mingi assures him. "Plus we are going to pamper the shit out of him/her/them once we get home."

      "Language," Seonghwa hums jokingly.

      "You know," San begins hopefully. "Maybe we could try to get a few days off soon so we can help Y/N relax a bit."

      "Ooh thank sounds awesome! Could we try it Joongie?" Wooyoung asks excitedly.

      Hongjoong chuckles. "I'll try my best to get it to happen WooWoo."

Wooyoung's smile widens. "Yay!"

The boys chuckle at Wooyoung's childish attitude, and Mingi sits down beside him, ruffling his hair adoringly.

"You're so cute Woo," Mingi coos, causing Wooyoung to blush.

"Mingi!" Wooyoung whines.

"Alright guys," Seonghwa giggles. "I hate to say it, but we have to get back to work."

The boys start to stand up, but San pauses when his phone goes off.
