::::

jisung looked at the clock sunday afternoon, bored. he doesn't have work or school this day of the week, and since he's caught up with everything, he's left with nothing to do. his college roommate isn't at the dorm either, due to him visiting his family off campus.

he decided to go into the office and do some organizing. i mean, the kid is a mess. when jisung walked into his office with the mindset of cleaning up, thats when he realized just how chaotic it was.

not only were the desks, drawers and shelves dusty, but everything on or in them were thrown every which way. the blanket is now in a ball on the floor, after he didn't bother picking it up after a younger client the day before.

to add on, all his clients files were a mess on his desk, instead in the organizer sana had bought him for his last birthday.

jisung cringed at the sight, unable to recall how exactly this happened. he shoved his phone in his pocket, and got to work.

he started by dusting everything, humming song tunes as he did. the office is usually quiet, due to other therapy sessions going on. it's common sense to not be loud unless necessary, just to be respectful.

after about half an hour of dusting, he decided to organize the files. jisung pulled out the organizer, and started going through his patients files. there is only about six, because he only works once a week. any more, and he would fall behind in school.

jisung decided to organize by time, who comes in when throughout the day. he just grabbed any file he saw and placed it on the organizer in its designated spot.

he eventually got to minho, but instead of placing it down, he looked at it. jisung sighed, flipping through all the notes he has made.

minho was different from any of his other clients. most are years older or younger, aside from minho and yeosang. minho is also one of the only ones who didn't heavily judge him at first due to his age, weather it be an older client who did or a younger clients parent.

and jisung doesn't know what it is, but he has such a strong feeling towards minho, but he can't pinpoint what it is. the need to protect? pity? romance?

jisung blinked back into reality, brushing off the thought. he went through yesterday's notes, and he could feel his heart tighten at the mention of the dinner.

he felt awful. picked on at school, picked on at home...he has no idea how minho deals with it all.

then jisung had an idea.

he sat on the couch, taking a break. he pulled out his phone, and started dialing jeonghan's number.

"what do you want-" jeonghan answered within seconds, a joking tone in his voice. jisung chuckled, used to these types of greetings by his best friend.

"i need a favor. a big one."

jeonghan sighed, knowing this might take a lot of work. since he's been friends with jisung since middle school, he's come to realize the other can be very tiring, especially when he's determined.

"...alright, what?"

"since you're the guidance counselor at school, you have access to lee minho's schedule, correct? his classes, and the teachers?"

jeonghan raised and eyebrow curiously and nodded, and answered jisung with a hesitant 'yes'.

jisung held the phone between his ear and shoulder, getting up to start straightening up the fidget toys in his drawers.

"perfect. so i don't know if you realized, since he's so closed off, but minho gets bullied a lot. i can't give names, simply cause he hasn't told me any. but, he doesn't take it very well, which is also something i'm not telling you cause it's private."

jisung started rambling on, making jeonghan impatient and almost back out of the favor.

"get to the point, 'sung!"

jisung paused, before continuing to speak, "okay, okay. so i want you to speak to all minho's teachers. tell them that he's a sensitive kid, and stuff. and if he ever seems down in class, send him to your office."

jeonghan didn't like how that sounded. as a guidance counselor, he's not a fan of favoritism towards kids. "jisung...i don't think that's necessary."

"come on!" he yelled, nearly breaking jeonghan's eardrums, "you don't have to give as many details as i suggested, okay? just let them know that if he seems sad, just have him see you to talk. i really care about him, and i don't want the bullying to effect him in the wrong way..."

jisung got quiet, hoping jeonghan would understand and do as he asked. to his advantage, he heard the other sigh, "okay, jisung. i'll do it."

jisung exhaled a breath he didn't know he was holding, and smiled happily, "thank you thank you, woo! just don't tell him about it, he doesn't know i know you."

"can i ask you a question?" jeonghan then changed the subject, confusing jisung.

"go for it."

"why do you care so much about him? one of your old clients goes to school here, and you didn't ask the same for him when he was seeing you last year."

jisung sighed, genuinely not knowing the answer to that. there's just something about minho that makes jisung want to hug and protect him from all the bad people and thoughts in the world.

and that's how jisung explained it. he was definitely embarrassed, but he's known to never sugarcoat things. even when it comes to his own feelings.

jeonghan chuckled slightly, completely understanding how jisung feels.

soon, the two hung up, and jisung got back to cleaning without distractions. he felt relieved that hopefully now minho has someone to talk to in school.

then jisung's mind went to jeongin.

i wonder what they're like in school.
