::::

jeongin didn't know what to do. he was totally stuck. he's slowly putting the pieces of minho's life together, but he just doesn't want to jump to conclusions.

it all just doesn't make sense. one day, the other has no problem talking to him. he's happy, energetic, and nice. but the next day, he's exhausted, rude and wants nothing to do with him.

jeongin paced around his bedroom, confused. he genuinely doesn't know what to think. are those cuts on his arms from falling or...

he shook off the thought, not wanting to think about it. it wrenches his heart, thinking that the poor kid could be going through so much.

or maybe it's all in jeongin's head. maybe the other is just very introverted. but as much as he doesn't want to jump to conclusions about the others life, he doesn't want to just brush it off to the side incase he needs help.

jeongin doesn't want to make the same mistake his friends made with him. it can really hurt to think nobody cares about you, and can have a horrible effect on you if you're already feeling down.

he took a seat in his beanbag chair, pulling out his phone. he dialed a number that was painfully familiar, and waited for it to ring. it's been awhile since they spoke, but jeongin could really use the advice.

"jeongin?" the bright voice questioned once he answered the phone. he didn't sound concerned, but more happy to hear from the younger.

"hey, jisung!"

jisung smiled from the other side of the line. the two have known each other for a little over a year, but it's been a few solid months since they last talked.

"how have you been?" jisung asked.

"i've been great. really, really great. but..." jeongin trailed off.

jisung raised an eyebrow, curious. if the other is doing okay, why would he call him?

"i need some advice," he softly spoke, unsure how to word it.

"go for it!" jisung friendly encouraged. jeongin sighed, thinking about how to get the words out of his mouth.

"there's this person i know. say you think you know something about the person that they probably don't want you to know but you know anyway and it's not something you should stay silent about but the person is so confusing that if you bring it up you think they'll hate you even if you think they already hate you?"

jeongin took a large breath after his rambling, leaving jisung stunned at the others stamina. he laughed, not putting too much thought into it. "woahhhh slow down! one step at a time. what do you know about this person, and who is it?"

"i won't go into detail," jeongin stated, "but it's a friend, i think? he's from school. and i think the thing i know is something really personal, but i figured it out on accident."

jisung sighed, "jeongin i cant help you much if you don't give me details. i respect that it's not your business telling people, but just tell me the big picture on what's going on."

jeongin switched the phone to his other ear, looking up at the ceiling in thought. "i'm just worried this person isn't okay, and i don't know how to bring it up to him. he doesn't really like me, and i don't want it to seem like i'm invading his privacy."

jisung nodded along, and came to a realization. minho?

no, it can't be.

"my advice would be just talk to him. if he really needs help, he will appreciate someone caring. you know that better than anyone else."

jeongin nodded, letting out a sigh of relief. jisung's right, of course he's right. he decided not to push anything out of minho, but to silently make sure he's okay.

"thank you, jisung," jeongin smiled, getting up from the beanbag. he walked out of his room and down to the kitchen for a little snack.

"no problem. stay positive, okay?"

jeongin let out a joyful laugh, "of course."
