After the pheras, they both were handed the varmaalas. Sidharth was already tall and he wouldn't even lean a bit.
It was getting more difficult and frustrating for Shehnaaz to put the varmaala in his neck.
"Sidharth, abhi nhi jhuka to mu Todd dungi aur romance ke naam pe zero dungi, sau lagge!", Shehnaaz said.
Sidharth immediately bent down making others chuckle, because they knew that Shehnaaz had definitely said something.
Shehnaaz giggled too as she looked him bowing down to her. He looked up at her and gave her his bunny smile.
She softly smiled seeing him like that, he gestured towards her that he will forever be like this in front of her.
She put the varmaala and then he did the same thing, much more easily due to her short height. But unlike him, she was looking up at him.
Sidharth and Shehnaaz sat in the pavilion. This pavilion was even more beautiful than the one they had in their pre-wedding shoot.
It was fully decorated with flowers and not even a tiniest part of the wood that supported it, could be seen.
The pandit ji again started with the mantras and they both realised that pandit hadn't stopped even once, so how could he start again.
They both chuckled lookin at each other, they were so stupid, they both wondered. Who does that in their own wedding? SIDNAAZ was the answer.
Papa and mumma were sitting in the pavilion too and soon it was the time for Shehnaaz's father to go ahead with the ritual of kanyadan.
He cried as he followed the steps of giving away his daughter to another family.
Shehnaaz looked at her father and wanted to break down right there, but she couldn't.
The only thing holding up her father was the fact that Shehnaaz is going into the nicest family.
And if anybody else can keep Shehnaaz just like a princess, then it was only rita Maa and Sidharth.
After the mantras, the pandit ji handed a small metal box of vermillion to Sidharth and he smiled as he took it in his hands.
He took a pinch of vermillion in his right hand and leaned towards Shehnaaz.
Ahana immediately pulled up her maagteeka, so that Sidharth can fill up her partition.
Sidharth put the vermillion in her partition and she closed her eyes. This was real and the bit of vermillion that fell on her nose, made her believe it.
Sidharth chuckled seeing her all red nose due to the vermillion and then with his left thumb poke her nose, before finally cleaning it.
Shehnaaz giggled too and for the first time in the whole day, they both relaxed. Nothing has gone wrong in their wedding ceremony.
They both prayed that nothing else goes wrong as well. Now only one more thing was left, before she can officially become his wife.
Sidharth took out the nuptial chain from his pocket and everybody was curious to see it.
He had told all of them that he would get this mangalsutra himself and they wanted to see what was so special.
He took out the chain and when Shehnaaz saw it, she smiled. It was not very long, black headed chain, with just one tiny diamond pendent attached.
Shehnaaz smiled wider, because this was exactly the kind of mangalsutra she wanted to wear and somehow, like always, he knew.
Shehnaaz could see something written behind the pendent and she held it firmly, to turn it over. There was a very small tiny thing embedded on the back of it.
