It had been days since they both got married and life was nothing less than exciting. If before marriage they were happy then after it, they were even more elated.

Sidharth and Shehnaaz felt much more closer to each other in every sense, be it physically or emotionally.

After marriage, they both had been doing a lot of lunches and dinners with the relatives.

Well, this is a kind of ritual for the newlyweds. The ones who are really close to the bride and groom, invite them for either lunch or diner at their home and sometimes breakfast as well.

In their case because they both were just so busy with work and lunches, honeymoon had to be delayed.

Sidharth was a bit hesitant to cancel it because he wanted sine alone time with his wife but it didn't seem possible at all, there was simply too much work.

Let's see how the conversation went!

Sidharth was looking at Shehnaaz with serious expressions while she was preparing their usual coffee, cappuccino to be precise, their daily ritual.

"Kya hua? Dekhta rahega yan bolega bhi!", She asked while whisking the coffee into their mugs.

"Tujhe kaise pta mujhe kuch bolna hai?", he asked.

"Tu tabse mu fula ke meri taraf dekh ra hai, pta kyun nhi hoga!", she asked.

"Achchaaaaa. Woh Na humara honeymoon...", he began.

"2 din baad ki ticket hai naa!", she asked as she looked at him and smiled shyly.

Sidharth nodded with a soft smile. "Wo han bass yaad dila ra tha!", he said, but that was not what he wanted to say.

He had come to tell her about the cancellation of plans regarding their honeymoon but seeing her shy soft smile, Sidharth couldn't bring himself to burst her happy bubble.

Now he was weighing the fact of dropping his work for now and going to honeymoon with her first.

"...but we can't go!", she said out of nowhere.

"Huh?", he asked.

"Well, we both have loads of work and we can't go and I totally get it.", she said as she turned around to look at him while leaning on the kitchen shelf.

"Kaam hota rahega par...", he was interrupted by her.

"Sidharth we have been married now. Humne shaadi bhi udaipur mein ki, it was already an outing aur Abb hum kabhi bhi honeymoon pe jaa sakte hain. Who says we have to go now?", she asked.

Sidharth looked at this woman who was being so very understanding and wondering that this was not what he had been expecting.

When he had asked his married friends about their wives, this was not what they have told him. He was told that no matter what, if you have made a promise to your wife you must carry it out, especially if its about a trip.

And here was Shehnaaz, his wife, being too understanding. He felt even more guilty now but that was only until Shehnaaz came closer to him and wrapped her arms around his neck, making him automatically keep his hands on her waist.

"Aur.....jo honeymoon pe karte hain wo to hum karte hi rehte hain...", she shyly said and looked down with a naughty smirk on her face, making Sidharth look at her with wide eyes.

Their conversation ended with both of them on the white linen sheets of their bed under the white coloured duvet.

They both had started working right after their marriage because the break that they had taken was just too long.
