Sidharth paced in the hospital room as Shehnaaz called mumma, telling  her that she was fine.

"Baby, idhar aa!", Shehnaaz said as she patted the place near to her on the hospital bed.

Sidharth came close to her but kept a safe distance from her, Shehnaaz frowned.

"Kya hai? Aa kyun ni ra?", Shehnaaz asked.

"Baby tujhe uncomfortable hoga!", Sidharth said cupping her face.

"Kuch nhi hoga mujhe! Bass mere pass leit jaa, mujhe achcha feel Hoga aur Pari ko bhi!", she said innocently.

Sidharth chuckled, probably for the first time in the entire night and carefully laid beside her, her head and on his chest.

Instead of her waist, he held her close by her shoulder because the thought of hurting her stomach with his hand didn't sit well with him.

He pulled her closer and they both slept. Sidharth could feel Shehnaaz shivering and he pulled her closer, in his sleep.

She was just so cold and her temperature kept on decreasing. He was worried about her being this cold.

But Dr. Anaya had told him that it was because her fallopian tube had a tear and she is about to bleed internally.

Sidharth was helpless as he heard her say that. Internal bleeding was a big deal and Shehnaaz might have to go through with it, the thought was killing him.

He just wished that morning comes soon so that her tear can be repaired and he can take her home, to their room, their safe place.

Right now, the only place which seemed to make him think about comfort was their room where nobody, no harm can come to his wife.

Sidharth woke up in the middle of the night, Shehnaaz was all wet due to sweat and there was blood between her legs.

He became numb for a moment. The doctor had told him that she won't bleed, but this was way too much blood.

Shehnaaz was just whimpering and shivering which pulled him out of his numbness. He ran towards the doctor's cabin.

"She...is bleeding! Shehnaaz is bleeding!", he said as soon as he entered the cabin.

Dr. Anaya was on a conference call with the doctors from Israel, probably trying to know more about ruptured tubes.

Dr. Anaya got alarmed hearing this because it meant that the tear was no longer a small tear, it had become bigger.

She didn't disconnect the call, instead she told them about the situation and they came to the conclusion that the baby might have to be taken out today.

Sidharth would do anything to save Shehnaaz right now. He wondered why did he let her keep the baby yesterday.

He shouldn't have allowed her to keep the baby, he shouldn't have listened to her.

Dr. Anaya called a few nurses with her as she connected a drip to Shehnaaz's hand to up her glucose levels which were rapidly decreasing.

Sidharth was asked to wait outside as they prepped her for the surgery.

As soon as the stretcher was pulled out of the private ward, Sidharth came towards her. She was conscious.

Shehnaaz could manage to say just one thing before she fell unconscious again, "Pari ko kuch mat hone dena!".

Sidharth held her hand as the stretcher was taken towards the elevator to move towards the middle floor, towards where ICU was.

It was the coldest floor, not only due to its decreased temperature, but also because there was not even a single soul there.
