Shehnaaz kept smiling the whole way towards home. Maa and Sidharth kept on looking at her with doubtful faces.

She realised them staring her and so looked at both Maa and Sidharth. "I love you both!", she told to both her husband and her mother-in-law.

"I love you too bachcha!", Maa said, still confused about her weird behaviour.

But since Shehnaaz was so happy, she let it go away. Sidharth on the other hand was waiting to confront her.

They reached home and Shehnaaz opened the door for Maa and stretched her hand for her to come out.

"Humesha aise hi khush raho bachcha!", Maa said as she took Shehnaaz's hand.

They entered their home and the three of them retired into their own rooms.

"Shehnaaz, kuch hua hai baby?", Sidharth asked.

He couldn't fail to notice how glowing her face was and how bright it was lit up. She was smiling ear to ear.

"Sidharth, come sit here!", Shehnaaz said and he did sit on the bed.

Shehnaaz sat in front of him on the floor. He was on the bed and she was on the floor.

She grabbed her bag and kept it near her. "Baby kya hua hai?", Sidharth asked worriedly.

"Hua hai, bohot kuch hua Hai. Mujhe nhi pta ki tujhe isse kitni khushi hogi par mein iss duniya ki sabse khush insaan hun aaj!", Shehnaaz said with a Crack in her voice, still smiling softly.

"Jis din humari shaadi huyi, uss din se bhi zyada khush hai?", Sidharth asked with a frown.

"Shaayad!", Shehnaaz said as she gulped and a tear drop fell from her eye. Sidharth quickly wiped it away.

"Sidharth, hum dono ne kitna kuch dekha hai ek sath, kitna kuch face kiya hai.

Kitni baar alag huye hain, aur fir kitni baar ek dusre ke paas wapas bhi aaye hain and it's been so beautiful.

Coming back to each other even when we were hurt and mending our broken selves with each other.

I have never loved anybody more than you and I know that you have never loved anybody more than me.

But now, we both are going to have somebody, whom we will love, maybe even more than each other! ", Shehnaaz said.

"Kya mtlb?", Sidharth asked.

"Mtlb, I am pregnant. We are pregnant. We are going to have a baby, our baby!", Shehnaaz said as her eyes welled up and became blurry.

Sidharth's face turned emotionless. It was like a poker face. Shehnaaz didn't know whether he was happy or he was not.

She didn't know whether he was angry at her for getting pregnant or whether he is going to be as ecstatic as she is.

When Sidharth didn't say anything, Shehnaaz continued, "Baby, I know you are scared.

I was scared too. Meine bhi nhi socha tha baby ke baare mein and I know we didn't even do family planning.

Humne bachche me baare mein discuss nhi kiya, par kabhi na kabhi toh hona tha and i think its the perfect time.

I have done too much work in the industry and even you don't involve yourself much into it.

We both have time and it's the right age. The timing is perfect baby.

I know you might think that you are not ready, par meine bhi ye kabhi seekha nhi hai.

I don't know how to become a mother, I don't know what motherhood means, but what I do know is that this is our baby.
