The machine beeped and her heart beat returned. Dr. Anaya sighed in relief and panick left her face.

Although, Shehnaaz was just a patient and it wasn't adviseable to be emotionally connected with her, Dr. Anaya couldn't help it.

She knew Shehnaaz earlier as well from Mumbai when she used to come to her father's clinic.

Dr. Anaya had taken a great liking for Shehnaaz and she was really relieved when the machine beeped and heart rate picked up.

Sidharth was still staring inside, blankly. Dr. Anaya came out and looked at his state. Sidharth looked beaten.

"Congratulations Sidharth, your wife and you child are safe and sound!", she said as she patted his back and smiled.

Sidharth still couldn't register it. His mind was still struck on her lifeless body and he couldn't understand even a bit of what the doctor said.

"Huh?", he asked, still lost.

"Look, she is fine. Shehnaaz is fine!", Dr. Anaya said as she pointed towards Shehnaaz through the glass wall.

"She made it!", he mumbled to himself and to Dr. Anaya as well.

"She did!", Dr. Anaya said as she herself looked inside towards an unconscious but breathing Shehnaaz.

Sidharth looked at Shehnaaz's chest which rose with each breath she took and descended down with the breath she breathed out.

As he saw her breathing, he felt himself breathing too. He no longer felt lifeless. It was as if Shehnaaz had given back his life to him.

"She is alive!", he said, not being able to believe what was happening.

"She is!", Dr. Anaya assured him. She herself felt way too emotional.

This journey hadn't been easy for the couple and Dr. Anaya had been there at every step, looking at them and knowing what they are going through.

She had told them numerous times to drop the idea of going through with this pregnancy.

She had told them several times that Sidharth and Shehnaaz could always try again after the abortion.

But Shehnaaz was stubborn. She wouldn't agree. Shehnaaz was hell bent on having this baby. She continuously told Dr. Anaya that she would be fine.

And she actually was, not only Shehnaaz but even her daughter was fine. Pari was just premature and being in incubator would help her breath.

Despite that, she was way too healthy and Dr. Anaya was shocked seeing that their daughter was completely normal.

This was the first time in her career and probably in the history of this hospital that an ectopic pregnancy was successful and even the mother was fine.

Not only that, the baby was perfect healthy too except the part of her being born in just 7 months and not 9.

Sidharth kept a hand on the glass which stood as a barrier between him and Shehnaaz.

He traced his hand on her unconscious figure which was still breathing and fine.

He knew that she would require a lot of time to heal, but atleast she was fine.

Dr. Anaya gestured Sidharth to come to her cabin and he reluctantly followed, not wanting to let Shehnaaz out of her sight.

It seemed like she was a dream and if he even blinked his eyes, she would vanish and he couldn't afford that.

He hesitantly looked away from her and moved to Dr. Anaya's cabin.

"Sidharth, I am surprised, to say the least. Bachche ko bcha lenge itna toh mujhe pta tha but Shehnaaz surviving is a miracle!", she said and Sidharth relaxed.
