43. Later this evening (M)

LISA

"It's been a day, Lisa. Aren't we going to look for Ella?" 

"She'll be fine." I replied for the umpteenth time since Jennie has been nagging me to look for our daughter since yesterday.

I don't know where Vamp Ella brought my daughter and since then, I haven't seen them for a while. I'm worried of course but Vamp Lisa assured me that her daughter was harmless, I kinda hate that word, I don't know why, it's not like I don't trust Vamp Lisa, but knowing how powerful Vampire Ella and the look on her eyes yesterday when she saw me sulking, still sends shivers to me.

Vamp Ella loves her dad so much and she treats me the same and that's the exact opposite of my Ella. 

My Ella who hates me for being a kind demon, what is wrong changing my perspective? I just want to live like an ordinary human but she hates that idea.

"What if she hurts our daughter?" Jennie asked.

"It's possible." Vamp Lisa chimes in, making Jennie snap her head towards her. "..but since my daughter promised me that she'll just let your daughter realize something and I don't have any idea so please, don't ask me."

"Fucking Manoban!"

I whipped my head to my side when I heard my last name and stood up abruptly in my chair. "Yes?/Shit!" Vamp Lisa and I blurted out at the same time and I felt a loud smack on my head coming from my own wife.

"S-sorry." I apologized and sat back. "You sounded like her."

"You've got to be fucking kidding me, Lisa." Jennie groans and hits my arm again.

"Ey calm down, are you going to be fine here? I need to hide." Vamp Lisa said.

"Why?" I asked confusedly.

"Jennie has been nagging me about something shit and I don't really want to so yeah." She replied and in just a blink of an eye, she vanished in front of us, traveling somewhere that we didn't see where she went.

"Lisa has been here, I can smell her scent." Vamp Jennie asked and I nodded my head. "Where is she?"

"She told us that she's going to hide." I deadpans, earning a glare from my wife. "What?"

"You didn't betray your own version, right?" She asked incredulously.

"I did." I snorted and stood up, offering my hand to her but she swatted it away. "Heyyy!"

"Two Ella's are in the top tower, thank me later but don't tell my bitch daughter that I'm the one who told you." Vamp Jennie said as she walked past me and ran her hand on my arm seductively.

"U-uh..."

"I can't believe that you got aroused by her." Jennie scoffs, looking down on my crotch. Vamp Jennie laughs loudly before she travels in haste and leaves me with my wife who has her eyes burning in rage.

"B-babe, it's –."

"Fuck you!" Jennie growled at me and I tried to reach for her arm but she already walked away, leaving me giggling like a fucking teenager just because I really find my wife cute if she's jealous even in her own self.

"Ruby Jane.." I sing songs while running after her and when I caught up with her, I wrapped my limbs on her waist and lifted her on my shoulder. She yelped but I ignored her and I made my way towards the guest room where we were staying since yesterday.

"Lisa put me down!" She growls while punching my back.

"Sorry babe, don't get mad please?" I cooed playfully and slammed the door behind me. I was going to throw her on the bed but since I'm scared of hurting my wife, I strut my way near the bed and lay her down gently, she tried to roll out of the bed but I stopped her, I put my right knee between her hips, hands pressed on her sides and leaned down, claiming her lips.
