As soon as Mila left the room I walked over to Caleb and pinned him up against the wall, "You have some nerve coming back here" I growled in his face.
"It's been fifteen years West, just get over it I'm sure Hope has," He spoke.
I slammed him against the wall making him groan, Callum came over and placed his hand on my arm before speaking.
"Don't be stupid West, he's your brother and before you accuse me of sticking up for him, which I'm not by the way, just hear him out. I also have a feeling that daughter of yours didn't go to the shops," His gaze was on me, waiting for me to let go of Caleb.
He's right.
God I hate it when he's right, I need to be careful when it comes to Mila, one little slip-up and she could find out everything. If she sees that I've beaten my stupid brother up into a bloody pulp she will definitely have questions.
After some hesitation I let him go and he immediately tried catching his breath as he scowled at me.
I took a swig of my beer, "You have five minutes to say whatever you need to say and then leave before Hope comes, or it won't be me you need to worry about anymore."
I honestly hate keeping what me and Hope actually do for a living and all because Xavier doesn't want any of the kids to know. Well, I don't care anymore, Mila needs to know or she will hate us both for keeping such a secret from her.
"Noah is alive."
"No, he's not, Hope killed him years ago."
He took a step forward, "She didn't kill him, he's alive and he's pissed. All I know is he's planning on striking back."
I watched him carefully, and by the look on Callum's face, it was true. How on earth did he manage to survive that explosion, we were lucky that Hope did.
"So Hope nearly killed herself for fucking nothing, what else do you know?"
He shrugged, "Not much, just that he wants Hope dead, yano the usual but now he wants to take down the golden triad. All I know is he's a lot stronger than before," I blinked rapidly.
This can't be happening. I can't let him destroy Hope, it took a long time for her to recover properly.
"I need to speak to Hope about this, but Caleb you can't be here and Callum, neither can you..."
"Why not?" He asked, the tone in his voice rising.
"You left seven years ago without a word to Hope, and we all know what you left behind," Callum looked away, the guilt probably eating away at him, "she's had a bad day, and you two showing up won't help."
Caleb looked extremely confused but almost bored with the conversation because he had no clue what we were on about.
"You know why I had to leave," He pointed out with a grunt.
