The hail and rain that fell from the sky calmed me as it patted against the windows of the hospital. The clouds were grey as the sky was dark, and I was bored waiting to be discharged from this awfully plain dull room.

It was early morning on a Sunday, the sun was trying to break free from the clouds that blocked it from appearing.

Xavier was in a different room and Callum wasn't allowed to stay the night as they ran some tests on me. Luckily I only had a mild concussion, two broken ribs, and a none fatal stab wound which was stitched up. I've been told to stay in bed and not do anything too strenuous.

That's my life I'm afraid.

I've had much worse.

West had to stop Callum from beating Xavier into a coma when I had ended up collapsing just before we made it to the hospital. Even though I hate him he's still my son's father, who I can't seem to find.

Apparently he and Mila had a fight yesterday, West snapped at him and he took off without telling anyone where he was heading. My hunch is he stayed over at Brennan's.

Recently I've noticed a change in his behavior, I'm always receiving phone calls from his school about him either missing classes or starting fights with everyone who apparently looks at him wrongly.

This is why I get wound up when Xavier is always away, I'm running our Mafia, making sure gangs aren't drawing too much attention, sorting out my clothing range and dealing with my children. Hunter is the only one I'm having problems with, and unfortunately for me, I have a meeting with his headteacher on Monday.

Mila told me she's noticed a change in his behavior too and he's acting dead sketchy since he became friends with one of the new students a few months back. I've only seen him once but he didn't speak to any of us and he never came round again.

Yes, my son hasn't always been the best behaved but he was never a cruel person. Out of everything he loved his family, and he never had a problem with me. It can't be all because of his father who he seems to think the sun shines out of his rear end.

I will get to the bottom of it, but right now I need to figure a way out to tell the kids about my life and to tell Hunter that me and his father aren't together anymore. To be honest, we haven't for a really long time, we are just married on paper.

My room was dark and I was bored of just looking out of the window, so I pulled the sheets away from my body and stood on the floor. I slipped my shoes on and walked over to the door to head over to Xavier's room to see him.

After minutes of peering into many hospital rooms, I finally found him snoring his head off, arms behind his head, his leg sticking out from under the covers and mouth open wide.

The beeping of the machines drifted around the room in a slow rhythm. When I stepped into the room the door shut creating a loud thud making Xavier jump awake.
