Samar's POV

"How?"

The question asked by Sanam made me look at Warisha. She was looking worried for some reason.

"Because this mall is lucky for us!" The other girl standing with them exclaimed with a grin.

"Lucky?" I repeated looking at the girl.

"Yeah! Warisha met you here, remember? By the way, I'm Mansi- her friend and a big fan of band!" She stretched her hand out for a handshake.

"We did?" I shook hand with her.

"Yup! We did!" Warisha prompted quickly. "May I get a selfie with you first, please?" She was looking nervous, impatient, anxious or maybe a mixture of all.

After a brief handshake, Mansi turned to her, "Ya! You already have a picture with him. Let me have it first!"

"You can have with others." Warisha reasoned.

Her friend put on a 'tyagi' face, "tu bhi kya yaad rakhegi. Go ahead." She went to Sanam.

Warisha smiled at me and asked to walked to a place with better lighting. While walking I asked, "when did we meet here? I don't recall any such incident."

"I'm telling you everything... Just buy us some time." She whispered.

I nodded.

As soon as we stopped in between an alley of books corner, Warisha started explaining me everything in speed of light that my mind couldn't register anything. All I was looking at were here facial expression changing in fleeting moment, her different hand gestures that could compete with any witch doing witchcraft and it might make me disappear if accompanied by a spell (I won't mind that by the way).

I repeated her name thrice or maybe more to stop her. "Whatever you are saying- mujhe kuch samajh nahi aaraha. Thoda aaram se bologi, please? Thoda slow hu main." I said with an apologetic smile and she mirrored my expression, "I'm sorry... Woh jab main nervous hoti hu na.. to either I struggle with my words or-

"You talk very fast." I completed her sentence. She nodded innocently. "Your story?" I asked her to start again.

"The thing is.. I'm a part of cultural society of my college and maine apne college event mein bohout bada blunder kar diya tha!" She started her story and I got in the role of a patient listener. "Sanam par jo light giri thi.. that was my mistake- kinda and I'm really sorry for it." She added after noticing a change in my expression.

"It was you?"

"I'm really sorry.."

"But Sanam didn't get hurt. Someone from your college did."

"I know and for that my grades got effected and to make up for it, I'm teaching Mannat as a substitute because my professor, who is her tutor as well, can't because of her health. And I'm not allowed to share this with anyone."

"That your are filling your teacher's place so that she give you good grades?"

She nodded. That's not right but teachers do give assignments to help students with recovering their marks but this- this seemed wrong to me and I don't know why.

"So, mere friends ko pata nahi chalna chahiye how we actually met." She said quietly.

"So... You made up this meeting at mall story?"

She shrugged in reply making me chuckle. "Come.. let's take the picture we came here for." She smiled coming to my side and we posed for the picture. Some funny faces, some serious one and I also found that like me, she could also wiggle both her eyebrows.
