"what the hell is taking juyeon so long?" hyunjae said, sitting on the floor and stretching his legs out like a starfish.
"he's probably going to make his own way home after talking to jieun for a while. it's a bit suspicious how they both left around the same time," haknyeon said, chanhee and changmin both nodding in agreement.
"why don't we leave them to it then?" hyunjoon said, grabbing his bag, followed by younghoon and kevin who were messing about hitting each other playfully.
"y'all are just too dense to see what's really happening here," sunwoo said, standing up, making the rest of the boys look at him. "they're clearly going into a recording room for some..." sunwoo said, making 👌👈 with his hands.
"nooooo!!!" eric wailed, with his hands either side of his head, as if he was now scarred for life after what sunwoo had just suggested.
"they better not be...we have to share those rooms," chanhee said, shuddering slightly at the thought.
"don't be stupid," sangyeon said, knocking some sense into the other ten boys. "they're probably just catching up again, and who are we to stop them. come on guys, let's go home. juyeon will probably be home a little later,"
"or not at all," sunwoo joked, earning a small slap on the back of the head from jacob.
"sangyeon hyung is right. let's just go," jacob said, picking up eric's bag and handing it to him, or at least trying to as he was still dramatically rocking back and fourth with his arms crossed on his knees.
"what if they are, hyung?? what if i can never go in that room again?? what if-"
"don't worry about it. let's just go home," jacob said, helping eric stand up. even though I'm the back of jacob's mind there was the possibility that it could be...true?
...
"try the handle again," juyeon said, trying to calm jieun down who was already stage 100 in panic.
"it's no use. we're stuck in here forever," jieun said, sliding her back down the door as juyeon took a step back.
"don't be ridiculous. the guys have probably realised that i've been gone for some time and they'll come to say goodnight to you before they leave," he said, trying to reassure jieun that they'd be okay. however juyeon knew there was a possibility that they'd just leave without him, it had happened many times in the past, mainly on juyeon's account. he still got lost in the creker building sometimes even though he'd been there for years.
"yeah, and does it look like they're coming any time soon??? what about eunae, someone has to pick her up from school!!" jieun said, beginning to panic a little more. juyeon sat beside her with his back to the door, putting a hand on her shoulder in order to calm her down.
"don't worry, they can't just leave her in the school overnight, can they? a teacher will probably take her home. don't worry, love," juyeon said, immediately regretting the last word.
"ahh...no, i meant- aghh, nevermind," juyeon said, jieun's lips turning into a small smile at his attempt to cover it up. he was right, though. the teachers were very nice at her school and wouldn't let her be unsafe.
"can't you call someone?" jieun asked, juyeon shaking his head and explaining that he left his bag in the practice room and one of the boyz would have taken it home for him.
jieun sighed, she had her phone but there was no data on it to make a call, and creker's wifi...well, it was just creker's wifi, no explanation needed. the only person she could call anyways was her sister hana who was at work right now, as all of her family lived back home in gwangju and she didn't have any of the boyz' phone numbers. plus, she couldn't let anybody know about eunae, like their lives depended on it, because they practically did. the two of them loved eunae so much and she was everything to them. putting her in danger was the worst thing imaginable.
it really did look like they were stuck there for the night.
...
"why didn't you call?" jieun blurted out, moving her head slightly to look up at juyeon as her head was rested on his shoulder. but she put her head back in position after realising juyeon's eyes were shut. his sleeping face made her smile, even though it shouldn't.
"i was scared," he said, making jieun flinch a little with his voice as she thought he was asleep.
"scared of what?" jieun asked, looking up to him as he looked down to her face that still rested on his shoulder.
"that you wouldn't talk to me, after what i did...that people would find out, put you both in danger..."
jieun was wrong about juyeon in so many ways. she always expected that he simply wanted nothing to do with her anymore, and that he didn't want to be involved with their child, but she was wrong. he was trying to protect the two of them.
"i don't think i could ever ignore you, juyeon,"
juyeon looked to jieun, with tearful eyes looking into her beautiful brown ones. "i love you, jieun,"
"i love you too, juyeon," she whispered.
"i forgot what that sounded like. i thought i'd never hear it again," juyeon said, making jieun smile at his dedication to her and only her.
juyeon leaned forwards and kissed jieun passionately before pulling away. "i forgot what that felt like too,"
jieun smiled slightly, her smile turning into a smirk as she shuffled a little next to juyeon before she suddenly got on her knees and put one either side of juyeon, straddling him and taking him by surprise. the feeling of his chest on hers, his body underneath hers, it brought back so many memories that she always thought she'd rather forget. but she couldn't, no matter how hard she tried.
"did you forget what i tasted like too?"
