-3rd Person POV-
The scenery was different this Monday after afternoon. In the wide open area of the gym, there was Leon and Nagisa. Both sat there, talking for half an hour and spending time with each other as it was the last week of Junior High. The sun glowed through the windows of the gym, and Nagisa thought it was the perfect atmosphere.

She gulped once after looking at Leon in the eyes. This was it. She finally gathered the courage to do it.

Nagisa would finally confess to Leon...

Though she felt a tinge of guilt even before proceeding with her plan. Lying to Natsuki wasn't a part of it at all. She didn't want to do it—Nagisa never intended to tell him she was 'busy'.  But she also never expected him to text her either.

'Is he okay? What if there was an emergency?' She asked herself multiple times.

While Nagisa was busy overthinking things, Leon's gray orbs stared into her deep black eyes. Leon felt smitten for the first time. He had dated one girl, but that was because that girl was persistent. But just like Nagisa, Leon felt guilt fill him up. He knew this was wrong. After all, his best friend Natsuki told him he liked the same girl.

Leon clenched his fist, trying to suppress his temptations. Which should he choose? His best-friend who has been there for him when no one else was, or the girl he felt in love with since the first year of Junior High?

No matter how hard Leon tried to push his tempted thoughts away, his heart had already made its choice. Leon cupped Nagisa's warm cheeks and suddenly pressed his lips unto hers. He felt her flinch for a second, but then immediately got used to it.

Both felt electricity, their hearts pumped faster than ever, and Nagisa felt happiness she thought she'd never have. The kiss lasted for a mere five seconds, but it was enough to leave both of them as red as riped tomatoes.

Leon slowly opened his eyes with the ends of his lips curved into a smile. But to his dismay, one familiar face appeared in view. He stood behind the gym doors, staring at the Leon and Nagisa with a pained expression. Instinctively, Leon pulled away quickly and felt nervous.

                              'Natsuki... saw us'

He was about to stand up to catch up to him but what occured next left him in shock. He saw Natsuki reach for the manga that he bought for Nagisa--and threw it in the garbage bin like it was nothing. After that, Natsuki's shadow trailed him as he left. Immediately, Leon felt bad.

He felt like garbage. How could he betray his friend like that? The friend that has understood him for the past three years? The friend that made him understand what it felt like to be close to someone? Leon wanted to curl up into a ball and apologize to Natsuki. Which he tried to do, he tried to run after him... but Nagisa's grasp held him tightly.

"Is everything okay?" she asked, her black eyes twinkled like stars. Leon cursed himself under his breath. He felt like there was nothing he could do. This was his biggest mistake.
