- 3rd Person POV -
"Shiratorizawa!"
"Shiratorizawa!"
The drums pound after each cheer as the excitement arises. A new tournament has begun— a tournament that Ushijima and Oikawa had been waiting for. First year, Oikawa Leon arrived at the stadium with excitement. It's been months after they stepped foot unto the high school life, and now a battle that he has been waiting for has finally arrived.
"All right, we all know how aggressive Shiratorizawa is when it comes to offence. We've observed them a lot, and we know that the only way we can fight them is through our plays," Oikawa Tooru, Aoba Johsai's new coach, said. He turned around to see the other team all gathered up and smirked.
"Ushiwaka is no different. He thinks force is the solution to everything, like always." He looked at his son, Leon, who was listening intently.
"Leon, as the setter, you know what to do. Shut them down, get their minds to think and confuse them."
"Yes... coach," Leon replied. His eyes turn into a serious glare. Leon's hands turned into a fist. He may not show it, but he had gotten nervous— nervous at the fact that he's fighting a match against his old friend.
Who knows how much Natsuki had improved? That's what bothered Leon. They're no longer the junior high buddies that they used to be. And Natsuki might not be the same outside spiker he was a year ago.
"You look like you've seen a ghost," said Seijoh's ace. Leon immediately straightened up and shook his head.
"I was thinking."
"Good, now tell me. What are you planning to do?" They both looked at each other, one with a look of authority while the other with a look of mystery.
"Goddamit, where's that boy?" asked Shiratorizawa's second year setter while Coach Ushijima looked calmly at his clipboard.
"Calm yourself, he's in the washroom."
"But coach the game starts in four minutes!" replied the worried setter. Their female manager sighed and placed her hand on her forehead.
"I swear, if he's late again, I'll send him to death," she declared— quite loudly that their coach heard.
Ushijima stood up and cleared his throat. His son has been a pain the butt for the whole team lately. "Don't worry, If he's late I'll make him do ten thousand serves." The team chuckled.
"I don't think that's possible, coach."
"Anything is possible when you set your mind to it," replied Ushijima with an expressionless face.
"Right..."
Oharu stood up and stretched his arms, all while looking at the cheering team from below with a smirk.
"Oh, I'll tell you where he is, all right." They all looked at him with curiosity.

"Runa-chan, make sure to take all the nice angles!" Natsuki requested as he poses for the camera.
"Ohhh! Nice, nice. You look awesome, Tsuki-chan!" She laughed as she clicks the button. The two decided to dillydally outside the stadium where multiple holograms of famous v.league players were displayed.
"Phew, that was tiring." Natsuki grinned while walking toward his best-friend. She showed him her works of art with a proud smile.
"Nice, I'm gonna show this to mom." He chuckled. As the two busily look at their pictures, Natsuki's manager had already made her way toward where they were— all thanks to their cheeky friend.
