ELSA'S POV
***
"What...what is this place?" I scan the area and find that there was just enough space for two people to walk to the center of this glass-filled room. Hoodie chuckles behind me and proceeds to rummage something on the floor. "Wait...what are you-" I jump in surprise as I hear a sharp creak up above us, then in a matter of seconds the room lights up with a dazzling array of lights. I notice that a window right above our heads had just opened up, revealing the bright blue sky above us.
"Tch...Admit it." I turn around and see Hoodie crouch on the floor with a mischivous - and very much annoying - grin on his face. I try to feign ignorance and give a light cough.
"Admit what exactly?" I scoff bravely but he just gets up and extends both his arms sidewards and chuckles more.
"That this," he points to the entire room, "is more interesting than that tour." I open my mouth to argue, but then I realize that he was right. This was waaaay better than anything I've ever seen on the tour, and that's something. But as much as I agree to his statement, I wasn't going to let my pride get taunted right before me. So instead of replying to him, I look around and inspect the room.
"What is this place?" I ask as I fancy the sparkling lights that ran across the room.
"Tch...obviously, a room filled with glass." He says this in a matter of fact tone but I'm not impressed.
"Right," I said sarcastically, "as if that wasn't obvious enough with it plastered with glass all around." Honestly! How thick-headed are guys?
"Well if it was that obvious then why bring it up then?" He chuckles in amusement but I just roll my eyes. See? Thick-headed. Personally, I've abandoned the conquest of trying to find the history of the place. No use talking with a guy who can't even pick up the clues of conversation. I squat and poke a piece of glass then it suddenly sinks deep in and I fall in shock.
"Don't worry, I fell on them the first time I found this place so they don't break easily," He laughs assuringly but I scoff. And he could've said that before... Suddenly, he pokes a silver-colored glass and instead of sinking in, it changes to another shade of blue.
"Whoa! How did you-"I begin but he just shrugs.
"I just poked it." He cuts in shortly and I do a facepalm.
Right.
"You know, there's an interesting tale about this place." He suddenly says in a low voice and I feel that the air is a degree less. I look to him and expect him to say one of his lame jokes again only to find that he was just staring at the glass floor. But the thought of finally hearing the reason for such an unusual room was urging me on. I approached him and with a smile, asked, "And?"
"Well," He smiles to himself as he clasps his fingers together and I huddle closer, "This used to be a prison cell for one man."
"Wow, so this used to be a-" I stop my words as I let them sink in and look at him in horror, "wait, did...did you just say..."
"And the tale goes on that he died right on this spot," He continues and a new perspective concerning the place just dawned onto me. "And legend has it that he was buried here as well. Tragic, isn't it?"
