KRISTOFF'S POV

***

Hi. My name's Kristoff Bjorgman. Yeah, it's just Kristoff, not Kristoffer or Kristoffersen or whatnot.

Just plain old regular Kristoff who am now in the middle of what is supposedly the "school" but is really a huge castle with a moat - wait, are there crocodiles in there?! -  and freaky looking stone gargoyles which I swear are studying me for dinner.

Weird looking school? Check.

Okay, so today's my first day at this ridiculously museum/school/haunted house/creepy mausoleum place. I really still have no idea how I ended up here. One second I was calmly scanning the Alps and the next thing I knew, I was being shipped to this place to study for high school.

Geez...Parents, they always get away with things.

"Whatcha' standin' there for, blondie?" I sigh once more and try to relax my shoulders.

"Who you calling blondie you..." I twirl around and stand in shock as I realize that I don't see anyone. "Okaay...this is officially creepy." I take a step backward towards the moat but I end up almost slipping off. Almost.

"Oi! Watch where your steppin' blondie! Don' give me trouble on your first day!" The annoying voice speaks up and I look around bewildered.

Bullied by ghosts? Check.

"Ugh...sorry?" I say unsurely and make sure that I step as far away from the edge of the moat as possible. Soon, I hear an angry yell.

"Hey blondie! Don' ya go leavin' your bags behind!"  The voice shouts and I turn back and realize I had just left my bags on the street and sigh as I return for it.

"Sorry." I reply dully but then a couple of girls walk past me and I straighten up. One of them, with a cute smile, looks at me and I sheepishly muster a smile.

Girls with very cute smiles? Check.

Suddenly, one of them laughs and shakes her head.

"Really?" She stops as she points to my bag which I quickly examine. All of the other girls laugh and I quirk my brow.

"What's wrong with my bag?" I ask and the mean blonde girl just shakes her head as she points to a sticker I had just placed on my case before I was forced to take the plane.

"Reindeers are better than humans," She reads and the other girls laugh. I feel my face turn a shade red. The girl just laughs out loud. "I told you girls, just another dork in blonde hair." She strides off and the rest follow her. I twiddle my fingers then my eye catches a look from the cute brown haired girl who looks at me earnestly.

"C'mon Belle, we'll be late for Cooking Class." Miss Mean Blonde calls and the girl named 'Belle' quickens her pace. Then, they disappeared into the long hall before me.

"Tough crowd."

I jump in surprise as I realize that beside me is a small guy in red clothes who is crossing his arms. He looks at me with a sigh and shakes his head.

"Take my advice kid, get lost and get out of this school. They'll drive you mad with all their money." He mutters as he fixes his tiny hat. I look at him quizically and soon he notices this. "What's wrong kid? Haven't seen a dwarf-sized guy before? Nah, you might haven't. We aren't very many these days. Anyway, the name's Grumpy." He extends his little hand and I slowly shake it.
