UA, Staff Room, 9 PM
Tension filled the room as all the teachers stared at each other.
"How is it possible? We had organized this trip in secret... how did they even found out!" Present Mic stuttered.
"Still for a surprise attack, we have to thank our teachers and the Pussycats for their efforts of keeping the damage minimal and no casualties" Snipe added.
"Yet at the cost of one of our students getting kidnapped" Cementoss commented, aggravated.
After the news that a student was kidnapped in a supposedly secret training trip, and the victim being Bakugo Katsuki, the infamous first place winner of the Sport Tournament, UA was subjected by a hail of critics and slander courtesy of the press.
Currently all the staff with the exception of All Might, who was preparing for the rescue, were watching how the press was trying to provoke Aizawa in making an action that he might later regret.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"... please tell us on what basis you can say that he has future..." a reported asked pompously
"This is bad... I get what they are trying to question but such hostile remarks! They are trying to build as much stress as possible and get Shota to say something he will regret... it doesn't get better by the fact that Eraser hates the media..." both Nezu and Vlad though worried as they watched Aizawa slowly started to loose his composure, all pent up emotions on the verge of exploding.
Clap, Clap, Clap
Everybody turned towards the source of the claps, seeing Slade walking down the hallway, clapping, wearing his usual formal attire.
"And here I thought the press wouldn't be as bad as the press in America..." Slade stated wearing a false smile, as he walked towards the table where the teachers were, and sat on the one that was still empty.
"And who are you" the reporter asked, completely outraged by the interruption
"Slade, UA combat instructor" the teacher said
Immediately after those words left his mouth, all the attention the reporters had on the Aizawa was instantly focused on him, circling the young teacher like a bunch of vultures.
"How do you call yourself a combat instructor if you were unable to prevent the kidnapping?!"
"Were you even qualified for this?"
"Get out of here this is not place for child!"
"Wait aren't you the quirkless that was hired months ago?"
If the reporters appeared as a bunch of vultures before, the word quirkless turned them from a flock of vultures to a pack of lions circling a juicy piece of meat.
"Enough" Slade whispered, barely audible, while whipping the smile off his face and showing one of his few infamous glares.
The glare that the boy used, which few recognized, was the one superiors used on inferior beings, a glare that the sent the inferior ones back of their tracks and turned them in a quivering wreck. A type of glare that only the ones at the peak of the chain were capable to use.
It's effects were instantaneous, for all the reporters questions and insults died into a faint, rasping gurgle.
"I find myself in a... curious situation... here I am witnessing one of my colleagues being riled up, trying to get a reaction out of him. On the other hand I am astonished by the accusations you are putting in."
