Chapter 32: JP Hero Billboard Chart and the High End

 "Just cut the crap! Why did you drag me to Kyushu?!" the newest Number One Hero shouted

"The rumours..." the Winged Hero replied, while munching a yakitori

Both number one and two pro heroes were in a famous Yakitori restaurant, courtesy of Hawks who invited Endeavour after the first Hero Billboard Chart presented since the Kamino Ward Incident.

However it was quite different compared to the others, now with All Might's retirement, all the hero society started to feel full burden of responsibility that the former number one carried as a symbol.

While many heroes were given the chance to speak, with Mirko indirectly threatening villains, Ryukyu saying that she didn't deserved said rank and Edgeshot denying being a hero but he will try his best to maintain the peace, the new number one hero puzzled the whole audience with by saying only one line

"Just watch me"

However if there was something that the public was eagerly awaiting, was to see if the son of Drakon, Izuku Midoriya, was inducted in the official rankings, given that he had a Pro Hero License.

Major disappointment appeared when the announcer told that everyone that actually the young hero was going to introduced to the top ten ranking, but per his personal request, he choose not to.

His reasoning was that he only had it for his teaching, and to kill time.

After Endeavour incredibly short speech, all heroes present dispersed, going back to their agencies, whereas in the case of Endeavour and Hawks, they went to take a bite, per the latter invitation.

"Those nomu... the League's freaky remodelled puppets" Endeavour said

"When we captured All for One, we found a dozen of those stashed in Kamino, the League has still made some trouble since then, but there were no more nomus sightings"

"Yes but they are not happening here. Haven't you heard? Stories are springing all over the country, to the point of becoming common gossip between house wives and children" Hawks adopted a much serious visage

"Meaning?" the Number One Hero asked the second one with a sceptical expression

"That the mere presence of those things are making everyone anxious, and now with the retirement of All Might, things are getting dire... recently some old school criminal autobiography has been flying off the shelves. And I'm thinking that is influencing people, ya know, those kind of stuff that sells well when the society is unstable..."

"What do you want then?" Endeavour asked irritated

"I want... huh?" Hawks was about to begin, when he noted that number one hero gaze was fixed to the window, or more specifically, to an object that was approaching their building at rapid speed

U.A First Years Dorms

"I am so bored!" Mina Ashido whined, something that was mirrored by the rest of the classmates.

It was Saturday afternoon, and normally student at U.A have only one break day which was on Sunday, however today classes were canceled due to the Hero Billboard Chart announcements, and so the internships were canceled today as well.

And even thought they have watched the event (which much to their disappointment their combat teacher didn't appear), done the laundry (with the exception of Kirishima and Mina, who have been banned from using a washing machine ever since that incident)and cleaned the whole dorm, it was still afternoon and they had nothing to do, not even homework.
