Darkness, or as the mortal world now knew him, a twenty-seven-year-old human by the name Min Yoongi, walked through the unfamiliar streets of the city he now lived. In the seventy-five years that Darkness, or Yoongi has been on Earth, he had only seen the outer appearance of humanity change. But from the inside, they all remained the same throughout the years. And it was struggle to keep in pace with the ever-changing standards of appearance. The world has changed for the better and for the worse.

But for Yoongi it has remained the same.

Bland and grey.

That was after he was able to see the world. A huge painting painted with blacks, whites and greys. The beauty of the sunset and sunrise was the just the same as drop of humongous grey ink in a milky white background. The flowers were just as colorful as a chess board. It wasn't that because sight was as such. But for him, all the colors had been drained.

In his true form, Yoongi was able to see the world as humans could and beyond it. But such possibilities and capabilities would shred the mortal body to imperceptible pieces as their mind collapses to bottomless abyss of madness.

So, Yoongi had to let go of certain things in order to sustain in human form. No one in this vast universe can have everything in being and continue to exist. And since Yoongi, absorbed all the colors he now saw none of them.

For him life was grey in essence and in vision.

But he found diminutive exuberance in small things and occurrences that people with colored world disregarded. Things like, smile, emotions and nature didn't require color. Yoongi didn't need so see the colors to see the happiness or pain behind the smiles. He didn't need to know the other person's color of the eye to see the emotions that swirled through them. He didn't need colors to see the miracles of nature.

Still, Yoongi knew he was missing out on a lot, not knowing how it was to see the world in its actual magnificence.

"Excuse me." He muttered while trying to walk through the crowded city streets during the morning.

In all the time Yoongi has been on Earth, he has seen a lot of things but the one he was looking for. Light. Light was no where to be found. He pondered every once in a while, that Light might have left Earth and gone back but it was so, Yoongi would know.

He knew nothing of Light's identity nor where Light lived in. Seven continents only seemed small in number. With the population increasing in arithmetic progression, every face seemed a new one.

His phone (Human technology is not as hard as humans describe it to be) buzzed in his pocket. He stopped walking and fished it out. It was his friend (a company is always appreciated) Hoseok asking if how far he was from the café. Yoongi looked up and around to check of his location before giving his reply. He understood that his friend was growing impatient of waiting and was the reason of asking how far away he was.

Yoongi put his phone and started walking but he still hadn't looked up and crashed into another person.

"I'm so sorry!" He apologized immediately.

The person he had bumped into almost lost his balance but his friend helped him back to his feet before Yoongi could. He quickly bowed to the person and his friend for his mistake.

"It's okay. I wasn't seeing where I was going" The other person chuckled.

Yoongi creased his eyebrows together not understanding what was so funny about it until he looked at the person. He was wearing dark glasses. Yoongi didn't understand the need of it, since it was already pretty cloud . Then his eyes shifted to the folded crane in his grasp and to his friend's hold him by his elbow. A soft gasped left his lips when he came to the realization. The person was blind.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry." Yoongi apologized once again, looking at the person's friend with a repentant look.

"It's okay." The friend said, "This guy trips even when he is walking in an empty place"

"Well, I can't see!" The person replied.

"No, you just can't stand on your legs" His friend shot back before looking at Yoongi. He bowed curtly, and smiled, "Have a good day!"

"You too." Yoongi mumbled watching the two leave. When he was about to start walking, he was met with yet another sight that left him stunned. He looked down to his hand. It wasn't grey anymore... it was now porcelain white with soft pink tint. The veins and arteries running underneath were faintly visible as red and green.

It was a like a blotch of colors on the his otherwise grey background. Yoongi's widen as he quickly looked back to find person, he had bumped into but the two were lost in the crowd. Yoongi looked back at the small part of his hand that was colored.

It didn't make sense. His world wasn't supposed to have colors, it wasn't possible.

Unless...

"Light" He whispered under his breath.

He had found Light... and he was blind.

Yoongi cursed. He had finally found the reason he came on Earth but he and already lost him. He wasn't sure if the other realized of who he truly was, because if he did that means that he might change his form.

And Yoongi hoped that wasn't case because he couldn't let Light on Earth for any longer.
