Yoongi hummed and turned the last page of the book. His head rested on the crook of Jimin's neck. Occasionally kissing the exposed skin, absentmindedly.

"I wanted to tell the book thief many things, about the beauty and brutality. But what could I tell her about those things that she didn't already know? I wanted explain that I'm constantly overestimating and underestimating the human race – that rarely do I ever simply estimate it. I wanted to ask her how the same thing could be so ugly and so glorious, and its words so damning and brilliant. None of these, however, came out of my mouth. All I was able to do was turn to Leisel Meminger and tell her the only truth I truly know. I said it to the book thief and I say it now to you. A last note from your narrator, I am haunted by humans."

With that Yoongi closed the book and put it away. He heard soft yawns coming from the younger in his embrace.

"Did you like the story?" Yoongi asked, turning Jimin around.

The younger nodded, "Yes... it's was... beautiful, I almost cried when Rudy died...I don't understand why people have to fight... have wars... I don't understand why there is so much darkness in their mind"

Yoongi closed his eyes and sucked in a deep breath. As soon as Jimin uttered the last sentence, pain shot through his chest. It was like getting a paper cut on his heart. The wound may be small, but it ached a lot. Jimin said a little bit more, but Yoongi decided to tune it out as he pressed his forehead against the other's.

"What do you want to do now?" Yoongi asked, trying to steer away from the current conversation.

Jimin tapped his index finger on his chin as he thought about the answer, "Well there is not much that I can do, so... I don't know"

"Did you talk to Taehyung today?" Yoongi asked, as he thought about what they could do so that Jimin didn't end up getting bored.

"Hmm, couldn't talk for long though. He's busy with his next art exhibition" Jimin mumbled, playing with Yoongi's fingers, "And Jin hyung and Namjoon are busy with their business. Jungkook is practicing for their upcoming competition."

Yoongi clicked his tongue. He needed to think of something to keep occupied, because he had to finish his song as well. Suddenly it clicked in his mind.

"Do you want to help me with my work?" Yoongi asked.

"Work? You mean your songs?"

"Yeah"

"I can?" Jimin asked, tilting his head.

"Of course!"

"Okay"
