Merry, Merry
Yoongi had no idea when the time passed and before he knew it was Christmas eve. Currently Jimin and Taehyung were chatting non-stop over call even though, they would meet each other later on. He had been hyper ever since he woke up. And even though, Yoongi loved the smile on his face, he still wasn't used to dealing with so much of energy. Yoongi sighed and wrote down names on the bags that contained gifts. A few days ago, Jimin and Taehyung had gone shopping together and when the younger came back, they had loads of bags in their hands. They spent the next five hours who to gift what and then wrapping it up.
Over the time, Yoongi and grown close to all of Jimin's friend. Especially Taehyung and Jungkook since the two came over to there house more frequently before Christmas. Yoongi didn't really have any problem. Which was surprising since he was never comfortable with having people, apart from Hoseok, over at his apartment. However, each time Taehyung and Jungkook would come over, Jimin would stay bubbly all the time. And he thought, it was enough.
Plus, he started to see Taehyung and Jungkook as his younger brothers. Though he was never going to accept that out loud. Even if Jimin asked him to accept it.
Finally, he had written the names over all the bags and checking twice that he was writing the correct names over the correct bags. Yoongi wasn't sure what to get Jimin's friend, since he wasn't that close to them yet. So, he bought them small gifts each and placed them together with Jimin in the same bag. The only gift he was confident about was the one, he was giving to Hoseok.
Hoseok was so gullible that Yoongi easily got to know what he wanted for Christmas. And the younger didn't even suspect why Yoongi was asking him so many questions all of a sudden.
"Jimin, you have to get ready. You'll get to talk to Taehyung afterwards anyways" Yoongi said out loud so that Jimin would be able to hear him.
He looked up when he heard padded footsteps approaching him. Recently, Jimin had grown confident of walking around the house without any help. It did make Yoongi a little dishearten knowing that the younger won't need his help anymore, but at the same time he was happy and proud of Jimin.
Yoongi smiled and stood up. He placed both of his hand on the side of Jimin's face and placed a soft kiss over the younger's head. Another thing that happened was that Jimin and Yoongi had grown closer than before. The younger would randomly demand for hugs that the elder gave happily. He became clingier than before. While, Yoongi read him the books, the younger would fall asleep. Either leaning on Yoongi's body or resting his head on Yoongi's lap. And of course, the elder didn't mind any of it. Also, each time Jimin was successfully able to do something, like walking by himself without tripping for getting hurt, or be able to get something without any help, Yoongi could kiss his forehead.
At first Yoongi would simply ruffle Jimin's hair. But once, the first time, Jimin was able to walk from his room to Yoongi's room, the elder kissed his forehead out of impulse. He was so happy then to see the bright smile on Jimin's face because he was able to walk without running into something, tripping or getting lost. And ever since then, Jimin wouldn't be satisfied by anything else apart from a kiss on his head. If he didn't get it then he would stay grumpy throughout the day.
