And the Color Comes
When Yoongi woke up again, he realized it was late afternoon. The warm ball of light filtered through his thin eyelids awoke him for the second time that day. Rays of brightness cast squares onto the glossy stone floor, reflecting onto several objects in the room which decorated its otherwise simplicity. He blinked a few times, in an attempt to help his eyes adjust to the illumination directed right at his defenseless figure.
Even though, Yoongi was unable to see the color of the late afternoon sunlight, his eyes would still respond to the intensity. A sigh tumbled of his lips as he looked around his apartment. Several items but all grey. His eyes flickered up to the clock right in front of him to see it was fifteen past two in the afternoon. He wasn't hungry since he had fallen asleep after eating his lunch.
He got up from his bed, remembering that Jimin was supposed to come over today. Yoongi had about an hour left before the doorbell would ring. He had already cleaned the other bedroom yesterday, the only thing left to do was clean up his apartment and make, if possible, more space to his new flatmate.
He quickly made his bed, before walking out the living room. There were few newspapers, empty food packets, magazines and loose papers discarded around. One by one, he picked them up and put them aside or throw them away. When he looked up at the clock again, it was fifteen minute to three in the afternoon. It baffled him a little knowing so much time had passed and all he did was pick up useless items. But he shrugged it off since he didn't have to wait for long. With the little amount to time he had left, Yoongi went back to his room to unleash a little bit of his power to as a daily requirement.
He closed his eyes and concentrated on the image of Earth that floated in his find. Slowly he felt his true power drip into his system as he searched for a spot to spread darkness. And as Yoongi concentrated on his power, all the light bulbs in the entire apartment started dimming down and fluctuating. The room shook a little, dust and loose particle tumbling across as Yoongi focused on the region he had choose.
A small peaceful town on the other side of the world where it was night. It was so quiet and peacefully tempting. A small, dark crack formed on Yoongi's finger tips as his powers surged past his humanoid vessel. He smiled a little in satisfaction, hearing the distant cries and screams.
His powers had almost taken over when he heard a knock on the door to his apartment. Yoongi's eyes flew open as he hastily stood up. He hadn't the small crack in his hand through which his true power leaked and touched his bed.
An annoyed frown formed on his face when he saw his blankets turn darker than any night, slowly spreading. Yoongi sighed, knowing it would take a a few second for the rapture to heal itself. Another knock was heard in the meantime. Yoongi swiftly ran his hand over the darkening blanket to absorb his powers back before rushing to the door. After taking a peek through the eye-hole, Yoongi opened the door.
