The two children were tuckered out from sword fighting, resting under a tree to regain their energy before going back to the hospital. As Twilight tried to rest, she could hear the familiar sound of laughter. She opened her eyes, seeing that everything has turned grey with eye symbols on the trees. She looked to her left to see Terrence was gone, causing her to be alert.

"Terrence? Terrence!?" She called out, frantically looking around.

Instead, she was met with a being shaped like a mini yellow pyramid. It had a top hat and a black bow-tie, two black limbs and legs. In the middle was a single large eye rimmed with four short black lashes on the top and bottom. She relaxes, breathing a sigh of relief as she smiles.

"... Hi dad. It's a surprise to see you here."

"Please, no need to be so formal. Go on and transform into your real self, that kid isn't around to see."

Nodding, Twilight closes her eyes as a bright light surrounds her. Slowly, she began to turn into her original form. It looked a lot like her dad but with a few notable differences. Instead of being yellow, she was pink. a darker pink flower could be seen on her top hat and a black ribbon instead of a bow-tie.

She spun around in the air, happy to be in her original form again after being a human for so long. But the joy didn't last long, for she knew why he must be here.

"... I'm sorry for taking so long dad. But it's kinda hard to find the thing you're looking for without anyone finding out what you're up to."

He nodded, his one eye closed as he opened it half way.

"I understand that. What I don't understand is why you're wasting your time playing around with that sick child. Care to inform me?"

Twilight gulped, now remembering Terrence.

"He's... sick with cancer dad. I'm just trying to give him the best week of his life before he undergoes something called an operation." Twilight explains.

Her father chuckled. "Oh Twilight, it's cute when you don't know certain things in this dimension. But you shouldn't waste your time on something that'll eventually fade away. What if it doesn't work and he ends up passing away?"

She looks away, not meeting his gaze. "But... even if that happens, I'll at least be making his last few-"

"Twilight." his voice boomed, stopping her altogether. "You know you shouldn't be wasting your time making relations with the beings of this dimension. They'll be gone or afraid of you when we open the gates. Once you're done having fun with that boy, you are to get back on track and find the Dimensional Rift. Understand?"

Slowly looking back at him, her lower eyelid rises up as if she was reluctantly smiling.

"... Yes dad."

"I just want to be reunited with you. So we can have all the fun we want! Wouldn't want getting you here to be for nothing, would we?"

"No dad, I understand."

Her father snapped his fingers, a white and blue portal appearing behind him as he slowly floats backwards in it.

"Guess I'll be on my way then! Goodbye for now my dear daughter."

Twilight jolted awake, back in her human form, looked at her surroundings again. This time the colors were back where they were and Terrence waking up next to her.

"Twilight? What's wrong?" He asked, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

"Uhh... just a nightmare is all." She replied, waving her hand dismissively.
