Chapter 5: Sleepless Nights

Yuno woke up all sweaty and nails pressing his palms causing him to bleed. He couldn't help but have visions of Asta killing Mimosa.

It was the fifth night that yuno couldn't sleep properly. Every time Mimosa asks him if he will consider taking her to Asta, he would always find a way to refuse.

To the golden dawn he was a jealous boyfriend, and that would make all the girls of golden dawn burst into laughter but the shame he felt, was nothing compared to the horror caused by the dreams that he used to see during night.

Yuno was in dilemma whether he should believe, the druid or ignore him. Trust the Asta he knows or one he is prophecised to become. Whether he should tell someone or keep it to himself but it was something too big for him to keep it stored in his heart. Even Bell did not know how thankful he was that she was there,for with her he could share all his secrets.

On the other hand a huge mansion which was engulfed by darkness except for a small window, from where the light projected. Finral had no choice but to wait for the captains to discuss on this matter. He wanted to save Vanessa but all he had was what her hair looked like.

"You are not asleep?"inquired Finesse.
Finesse looks at the picture and hugs finral tightly giving him confidence that he will surely save his squad mate.

"Thanks, I surely needed it."

Finesse sit beside Finral and rub his hair, until he falls asleep and then turn off the lights. Wished the sleeping Finral a good night and before she could reach her own room she ran back to see, in case he was awake, because of the sound of the foot steps she made while walking towards her room.

Finral even though was not asleep, the moment he felt she was near his room, he pretend that he is asleep, so that she could feel assure that finral was asleep and could go to sleep herself.

In the Black Bulls hideout, Noelle hear strange voice coming out of Asta's room, she finally collects enough courage to ask him to open the door. Asta opens the door and asks Noelle that why she was there.

"Is there someone in your room"

"Ofcourse"

Noelle face get red with anger, "who"

"Ofcourse me"

"What is she doing in your.....wait did you say me."

"Yes, why did you come to my room?"

"I have been hearing strange sounds coming from your room."

"What are you talking about Noelle, how would two people stay in this small room, I hope I get a bigger room soon."

"You are not wrong but...... Nothing... good night"

As Noelle walked through the isle to reach her room she could only think that why Asta would call his room small while he always used to boast that how good and spacious his room was but she thought that maybe it was because he was finally becoming normal.

"She is gone, we can continue now"

"Asta, you are the first to ever be resurrected, do you feel any change."

"Nah, Hell, I think I am actually better now"

"There is a reason, resurrection is not allowed, even a second in hell could change you into a different being"

"Don't worry"

"Forget it! Remember never speak of Vanessa infront of others ever again. You know the reason right?"

"Yah, she was the exchange"

" if you wish to live someone had to die so I took her, I hope, you don't mind."

"Its alright you can take any one you want"

As Hell faded in the darkness. Asta smiles while looking at his hand.

"So this is what mana feels like, I love it"

Everyone has someone they care about but the true evil is born when that concern is gone. When asta was resurrected, though he had his body but not his heart

Though the darkness would fade when sun will shine but darkness that was creeping through the life of mortals and immortals like an ivy would suck all hopes and the world will walk toward its demise.
