Chapter 8:the song of a Valkyrie

"The bell could only be heard by a Valkyrie and considering you use a spell called Valkyrie Armor, it makes sense" Undine says it while she assures Noelle that it was nothing serious.

Noelle heart was still not at peace. She requested Lolopechica to tell her about the history of the bell, because while she was there for six months, she heard it once and no sooner after that Vanice came to destroy the beauty of heart kingdom.

Lolopechica sighed and said," this tale has no verification but much before the tragedy of 1000 years ago, the world has many armed women, who would fly around the sky looking over the humans, being invisible to their eyes.
There were two brothers, little one had power to listen to them and latter could see them. According to the legend the two brothers were just looking at the angels, but unlike other days, when they both would listen to their beautiful sound and their beauty with their compound magic in silence, older brother couldn't help but approach one of them and ask for the armed beauties' origin, but little did he knew that on being explored by the beauty, he would become prey to a fierce beast. She with no words or expression of remorse, burned his eyes, and with no mercy cursed the blind guy who was crying with pain, to see all the pains that the human will face, in the coming future"

"You are not saying that they were just like Noelle, are you? Impossible!" exclaimed finral

"That's exactly what she is saying but you don't have to get angry over such a small matter, it might not even be true. But one who are armed are not supposed to think with heart" said undine

"But, the story is not yet over, the curse.. was actually a reason that the bell was manufactured and gifted to heart queen of that era"

"What do you mean"asked Noelle

"The older brother was not crying because of his painful eyes but for what he saw while being cursed, he called out for his little brother, he came to support his older brother at once, he asked him to bring his ears a little closer to his mouth, and as the message was delivered, little brother was left with nothing but horror."

"What did he say, that made him this scared" the words came out of cotton who transformed into Charmy.

"Miss charmy what are you doing here?" Finral inquired.

"This tale sounds interesting please tell me what it was, don't tell me that the world will be dominated by famine and they will end up adopting cannibalism" Charmy asked Lolopechica, ignoring Finral

"Huh! Well it was a warning that the world was coming to an end, because devil were coming out. The little brother ran like crazy telling everyone about it and telling them to run away, but he was called crazy, he went to spade and no one believed him, so he inscribed those words on a large piece of rock, he came to heart and finally someone believed him, and it was none other than the queen, who insisted on battle rather than running away, she even asked for his help but he refused and seeing the brave woman gifted her a bell that would greet the Valkyrie."

While all were pondering over it, they learned something that Lolopechica missed

"Doesn't that means the bell alarm the Valkyrie of any danger"asked finral

Lolopechica was silent for a while and continued," then I would like to ask for help from clover kingdom again, because the enemy has arrived and they are way too strong, my magic is useless."

Finral mouth was open wide and was paralyzed, what moved was just his leg because of fear, but his fear was lost as his eyes saw a pink thread attached to the bell.

It was as if he found his missing piece, his bravery and sanity, his companion and benefactor, He heard loud and clear, "after this I will treat you with a hug" finral was motivated again and charged out with euphoria.

But...

The army of huge being was running towards him, it was more than he could imagine, each one of them carrying more mana than him.

Finral was once again paralyzed as he saw a feet of one of the giant, above him.

"Sea dragons roar"

All that this spell did was caused the giant to have a itching sensation and bring finral back to his senses.

Finral without wasting any time, used his spatial magic to go to clover kingdom to ask for help.

Lolopechica looked at the giant and asked Noelle to cover Charmy

"You are smart, you know what I want, you must be a friend to that 1000 year old blind man, he is really a pain in the ass"

"You must be the one, who is called Loki"

"I am just here for my son, it would be best if you just hand her over without any resistance."

"We will fight" Noelle and spirit guardians said in unison.

"As you wish" said Loki with nothing but a smile.
