Chapter twenty-seven: The missing piece.
Awkwardness fill the air. I bit my lower lip looking down to my foods, damn! I know his looking at me intently, I can't even look back.
"Aren't you going to eat, baby?" Malambing nitong tanong. He tilted his head to peak on my face. "Hey!" Aniya sa mababang boses. Oh ghad! Even his voice was so soothing to my ears. Tumikhim muna ako bago ito nilingon.
"Why so shy, baby?" Mapanuyang tanong niya, iniangat nito ang baba ko para tuluyang makita ang mukha ko. Mariin kung kinagat ang mga labi ko sa sobrang kabang nararamdman. "Hey, calm down." Natutuwang sabi nito. I glared at him.
"Kakain na ako!" Sabi ko sabay hawi ng kamay nito sa baba ko.
"Wooh! Okay." Natutuwang sabi nito habang tinitignan parin ang bawat kilos ng kamay ko.
"Stop staring Ranzel!" Madiin kung saway dito.
"Call me again baby first." He simmered.
"Tsk!" Ni wala na akong mangapa na salita sa sobrang halu-halong emosyon. My hands were trembling. Mahinang tumawa nmn ito.
"Cm'n baby!" Panimula nito na sinundan ng mga mahihinang mura.
"Tigilan mo nga yang kaka mura mo Ranzel!" Saway ko dito habang tinatapunan ito ng matatalim na tingin. Mariing ipinikit ang mga mata nito bago ulit nag mulat at abot tainga ang ngiti.
"I can't help. Sobrang saya ko ngayon kahit hindi ko nmn talaga alam! I should be sad but damn! I want to just shout to the world that you're mine!" Aniya sa napapaos na boses, pumungay ang mga mata nito. I looked at him mystifying.
"Anong you're mine? I didn't told you, you own me!" Masungit kong turan. He smiled playfully and reach for my hands and gently squeezed it. Dammit! Nanghihina agad ang mga tuhod ko, buti nlng talaga at naka upo na ako.
"I want you to remember everything. Nagkaroon ka man ng Change of Heart pero sisiguraduhin kong sakin parin ang bagsak ng puso mo. Simula't sapol, pagmamay-ari na kita Shalani Honzel Buenaventura. The day I claim your lips first." his eyes twinkled. Naguluhan nmn ako sa pinagsasabi nito. "You taught me how to be like this, and now... I want to taught you to be the woman.. No... I mean the girl I know before. I will melt the ice." Dugtong pa nito sabay marahang hinalikan ang kamay ko.
"Ang weird mo!" Asik ko dito. Ngumisi lang ito.
"Weird. Maybe I am." Pag tanggap pa nito. Napangiwi nmn ako sabay nguso.
"I thought you're mad at me." I said in my low voice and lowered my head to avoid his gaze. He chuckled and lifted my jaw by his fingers. He smiled genuinely.
"I can't stay mad to my baby... I will accept it. I will! I love you so, I will. I will always win you over. Past will be past and now, you're my future and always my future. Kahit na kasama na ako sa past mo, kahit na kinalimutan mo mn ang nakaraan. Tatanggapin ko. As long you're in my arms, no one could get in my way. Win you over and lost everything will be worth in the end. Basta ba ikaw ang end game!" Hindi ko alam kong anong maramdaman. His words caught me big time. Yes baby. I am willing to win you over just like what you want too.. kahit medyo weird ang mga pinagsasabi mo pero parang connected parin ako doon. That was cliché.
"I love you." Malambing nitong bulalas. I smiled.
"Me too." Tugon ko dito, kumunot nmn ang noo nito. He sighed and kissed my hands then my forehead.
"Finished your food now." He commanded. Tumango nmn ako bilang tugon. The whole dinner was so special to me. His eyes never leave my actions
"You're staring too much." nahihiyang sabi ko. He chuckled and pull his chair beside me. He stroked my hair gently while his eyes darted on me. Nagsiliparan nmn ang mga mananap sa tiyan ko, gosh!
