chapter i.

WINNIE WHITE DIED. Yes, you heard me right, our main character died. More than once - I should probably mention that too.

I know, it's incredibly sad and disheartening to hear that your favourite character is dead but don't worry, our little Winnie doesn't stay with the dead very long.

Now you must be thinking, don't people stay dead when they die? Yeah, that's true but not for our young - well now old - Winnie White. And before you ask, no she's not a zombie not that there is anything wrong with that just she isn't a zombie.

Your next question might be why? Or how? That's a little more complicated to answer. It all goes back to that horrible experience our favourite couple had with HYDRA.

But I'm going to make you wait for the whole story until later on.

Instead, we are going to zoom in on a little mission that our little Winnie has found herself involved in.

"The target is a mobile satellite launch platform: The Lemurian Star," Brock Rumlow explained, "They were sending up their last payload when pirates took them, 93 minutes ago."

"Any demands?"

"A billion and a half."

Winnie let out a huff of annoyance as she placed a pistol into one of her holsters. "God, why couldn't they just ask for hugs?"

The Rogers man looked over at Winnie, raising a brow before ignoring her comment. "Why so steep?"

"Because it's SHIELD's."

"So it's not off-course, it's trespassing."

"I'm sure they have a good reason," Natasha reasoned.

Steve sighed and rubbed his head. "You know, I'm getting a little tired of being Fury's janitor."

The White girl walked over to her best friend and slapper her pale hand on his broad shoulder.

"Give it another fourty years," she spoke, "It gets a hell of a lot worse."

Her attempt at a joke didn't do so well, especially seeing as Rumlow sent the girl a death glare, not that Winnie cared whatsoever.

Winnie wasn't the biggest fan of Rumlow and the feeling was mutual for him too. Ever since he showed up one day as an agent and very quickly made his way to the top. Winnie couldn't help but not trust him.

But then again, she didn't really trust anyone these days so maybe it was just her.

"What Winnie said, apart from the forty years, Grandma," Natasha smirked making the White girl narrow her eyes at the redhead playfully.

"I'll have you know, I am pretty spry for my age, Romanoff," Winnie spoke, a grin playing on her lips. "And even if I was a Grandma, I could still beat your ass."

Natasha raised her brow, taunting the older woman, "Is that so?"

"That is-" the White girl began but she was cut off by Steve.

"Enough of the flirting you two," the Star-Spangled man said forcefully, however, Winnie could tell from the small smile that he found their bantering amusing.

The Romanoff girl kept her eyes on Winnie for a few more seconds before turning to look at Steve and shrugging. "Just relax, it's not that complicated."

"How many pirates?"

Rumlow turned the tablet he had in his hands around to show the others, "Twenty-five top mercs, led by this guy, George Batroc." When he finished, he swiped the screen to show George Batroc.
