trigger warning. maybe?

-

"give me a reason why you'd go out with me." he sighs as he fists the hem of his shirt.

"i don't see any reason why i should disclose that to you right now."

how many times was it? 20 as of now?

jennie rolls her eyes and covers her face in annoyance. "look, kim hanbin-"

"no you're ruffling it even more!" wails her new friend. jennie tilts her face onto the wall just to get a fair peak of the couple at the distance just to, observe.

"because i want to kiss that pout away," rosé pecks lisa as soon as the confession leaves her mouth. jennie curses lowly at the amount of heart eyes the two were giving at each other, as well as the cooing murmurs and "get a room" hoots, followed by a bunch of laughter from the hall.

how could she be thinking of me too?

"earth to jennie?"

jennie widens her eyes and then gulps, afraid his suitor-like noticed her...bitterness at the couple.

"you know hanbin..." she walks to him, killing the distance, and rests her right hand onto his right cheek. she watches the movement of his adam's apple as he gulps, obviously nervous and caught off guard at jennie's unexpected action. "...i want to go out with you." she pats his cheek lightly, and smiles.

"what's with the change of heart?" he asks as he places his hand against jennie's.

"you look like a korean idol." jennie says simply. hanbin raises a brow.

ugh, just say yes.

jennie shrugs.

"when?" he broke his stance into a huge grin.

feels good to feel like you have a chance, no?

"tomorrow?" she states with raised brows, unsure. however the doubt wasn't bothersome, and she didn't care at all; so she took his arm and let it circle around her waist. she smiles sheepishly, as hanbin's freaking out internally, his attention focused onto his arms around his dream girl. jennie glances at the couple, and she doesn't even want to know how (miserable) she looks. she flinches away as the couple lip locks with smiling faces. she'll never get used to it.

why had i thought lisa would look my way? she's with her girlfriend.

-

jennie is relieved hanbin didn't drag her out of campus the moment the bell rang. he gentlemanly approached her, told her to rest for a while, and to take her time dressing up. he even asked permission from her if she would rather ride alone or have her fetched up. jennie thinks about the possible events that can upturn her life because of him, but she's concluded that it's best like this.

she smooths down her sez'wick floral off-shoulder blouse as she looks at her reflection in the mirror, smiling in content at what she is seeing. she hums a familiar song in her lips, takes her chanel vintage black leather handbag, takes a few selfies, and heads out to see his suitor waiting for her.

-

"i don't even know my I. Q." he says as he rubs his neck sheepishly, smiling an awkward smile as he leans back the leather chair. jennie rolls her eyes for the nth time this evening as she sips onto her apple juice, staring at hanbin calculatedly.

"goats are from the sheep family."

"you're right!" he raises his hands and bows in surrender. "sheep are from the goat family is very wrong! you're so smart, jennie." he praises in the end, as if to dismiss the topic completely. he succeeded on that. although again, jennie paid no mind.
