Chapter 8: IronFam Vacation

"Heck yes!" Peter shouted as he walked into the compound.

"Why is he so excited?" Happy muttered as he followed him.

"What is it, Pete?" Nat asked. "Did you finally master that knife trick?"

"What the hell?" Rhodey wondered.

"I just finished my finals!" Peter exclaimed. "It's summer vacation!"

"I think I need a vacation from your bullshit," Happy, again, muttered.

"Not a bad idea," Tony said as he entered the room since he was taking a break from working. "Who's down for a vacation?"

"Me!" Peter yelled and dramatically collapsed on the couch. 

"I'm down," Nat said. "Where are we gong?"

"Can we PLEASE go to Disney World?" Peter begged.

"Isn't that place for like, 5 year olds?" Rhodey snickered.

"It's the happiest place on Earth! Everyone needs to be happy, even old guys like you!" Peter responded.

Nat and Tony burst out laughing, Tony giving Peter a high five. "Good one kid!" Tony snickered. "Anyway, Friday?"

"You are booked with meetings all next week, Sir".

"Perfect, we can go then!" Tony concluded. "Cancel them!"

"Oh, Pepper is gonna kill you," Nat mumbled.

"TONY!" Pepper yelled as she walked in from her office.

"Oh shit, she's mad mad," Rhodey whispered to Happy.

"I'll get the coffin ready," Happy whispered back.

"Why on Earth did I just get an email saying you canceled all your meetings next week?" she was fuming.

"We're going to Disney World, Pep!" Tony flashed a smile.

"Tony, you can't just-"

"Too late," he smirked.

"Whatever," Pepper rolled her eyes. "We better be going to ALL the parks!"

"Hear that Friday?"

"Already done, Boss. I have 3 rooms with two queen beds booked that will be ready by Sunday night and I purchased 6 tickets for the parks".

"Thanks, Fri," Tony yelled. "Alright, everyone get packing, make a shopping list if you need, we leave in 2 days!"

~Time Jump~

"Alright, get in or we're ditching you!" Nat announced on Sunday morning.

"Well, that's harsh," Peter laughed.

"Oh, that's nothing," Tony mumbled since she's pulled a knife on him before. 

Everyone piled onto the jet, and Nat started it and put it on autopilot. She joined the rest of the crew, Pepper, Tony, Rhodey, Peter, and Happy, where they played an intense game of Boggle while eating their snacks. They quit playing after one round though, because Tony beat them all by a lot. They spent the rest of their time either napping (Rhodey and Happy), working on business emails (Pepper), reading (Nat), or playing an intense game of Slapjack (Peter and Tony).

"You're Peter Tingle or whatever made you win," Tony complained.

"Your destination is on the right," Friday announced before Peter could respond.

The Quinjet landed and everyone plus their suitcases jumped out and walked into the lobby to check in.

"Alright, Pete, you're with Nat, Rhodey with Happy, and Tony and I," Pepper said while handing out key cards.

"Rest up guys, we got a big day ahead of us!" Peter exclaimed.

~Time Jump~

The IronFam walked into Magic Kingdom the second it opened. They started off the day riding as many rides as they could before it got too busy. Peter pissed everyone off by requesting It's a Small World and scream singing it, and Nat pissed everyone off by absolutely dominating them during the Toy Story Mania ride. Luckily, Rhodey's PT with a bit of Tony's tech made it so he could walk almost perfectly fine. They all got churros and hot dogs for lunch, and then they went to the gift shop for souvenirs.

"Check out these Iron Man ears!" Tony said proudly as he put them on.

"Aw, how adorable," Nat teased.

"Take a picture it'll last longer," Tony laughed as he lightly punched her shoulder.

"We should all get ears and take a selfie!" Peter announced.

Rhodey and Happy grumbled but put on ears, Rhodey's were classic Mickey and Happy wore a hat with ears. Pepper chose a sparkly rosegold one, and Peter chose Star Wars ears. They all begged Nat to wear bright pink ones.

"C'mon Red, please?" Tony begged.

"Please?" Peter added.

"You two are such babies," Nat snickered and put on plain Minnie ones with a bow.

"Close enough," Peter smiled.

They took the selfie in front of the castle, and then Peter wanted to take pictures with the characters.

"He really is a 5 year old," Rhodey laughed.

"Hey!" Peter whined.

They first took a group picture with Mickey, and then one with Goofy. Once they were walking around again, they took some with the princesses, and Pepper and Nat took one with Gaston. Rhodey took one with Captain Hook, and Tony took one with Donald Duck. Peter was very thrilled to meet Peter Pan. Happy chose to be the designated photographer. The media was having a field day and IronFam made the news.

"Aw man, I forgot to get signatures!" Peter complained.

Later that night, they ate some at the Tomorrowland restaurant, and then watched the fireworks. They all crashed and fell asleep after the exhausting day. The rest of their week was just like the first day. They were just enjoying each other's company, the rides, and souvenirs from the shops. It was a much needed trip for them all. Even Rhodey and Happy were warming up to Peter.

On the last day of the trip, they went to the Star Wars park. Peter was having his fanboy moment.

"Oh my god its the Millenium Falcon!" he gasped. "And there's Chewbacca!"

"Geez kid, calm down" Nat smirked. "You're gonna explode".

"But it's too exciting!"

Peter spent the whole day in awe of everything there. He explained what certain things were to the rest of the IronFam, since he's a very knowledgable Star Wars fan. Tony let him buy literally anything he wanted from the gift shop, and they rode all the rides.

"Thanks so much for the trip Mr. Stark!" Peter exclaimed as they got back onto the jet the next day.

"Yeah, Tones, it was actually pretty fun," Nat added.

"Thanks, Pippi," Tony smirked.

Nat rolled her eyes and sat next to Peter. She slightly grinned to herself when he fell asleep and rested his head on her shoulder. Pepper was back to work, Rhodey and Happy put in headphones, and Tony was reading something on a tablet.

"Aw, how cute," Tony said to Nat sarcastically.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer," Nat smiled.
