"Hey, kid," Rhodey greeted as Peter entered the compound.

"Hey, Rhodey," Peter smiled and sat on the couch across from him. "How's work been?"

"Terrible, they all kinda suck," Rhodey laughed. "Anywho, any Thanksgiving plans?"

"Not much, just me and Aunt May as of now," Peter shrugged.

"Hm, well I think we're gonna do something here if you want to come," Rhodey offered.

"Really? Oh my god, thank you!" Peter exclaimed. "Aunt May makes a really good pumpkin pie I think you would all love and I make pretty mediocre mashed potatoes, which is not the point but-"

Rhodey couldn't help but chuckle at Peter's rambling and started laughing even more when Happy walked in on Peter's rambling.

"Is he talking about pie again?" Happy jokingly rolled his eyes as he listened to Peter talk.

"Yes, yes he is," Rhodey replied.

"Well, excuse me!" Peter said, faux offended. "It's not MY fault that pie is delicious and that May just so happens to be great at baking it!"

"Whatever you say, kid," Happy shrugged.

"Hey, boys," Pepper greeted as she joined them in the common room. She was working in her office at the compound and was finally done for the day.

"Hi, Miss Potts," Peter smiled.

"It's Pepper, kid," Pepper smiled. "Anyway, what are you talking about?"

"PIE!" Peter exclaimed as Rhodey and Happy grumbled.

"Do not get him started again," Happy turned to Pepper. "Once he starts, he never stops!"

"Sounds like Tony," Pepper joked. "Speaking of which, where is he?"

"He and Natasha have been hanging out more recently," Happy responded.

"And they HAVEN'T killed each other?" Pepper raised her eyebrows.

"Nope," Happy replied. "Don't ask me how, though. Equally confused as you are."

"Wow," Pepper muttered. "Anyway, Peter, are you coming to our Thanksgiving dinner?"

"Yeah!" Peter replied. "But only if it's not ON Thanksgiving Day, me and May have plans."

"Well, we're free to do it either before or after," Pepper checked her calendar. "Is the Wednesday before okay?"

"Perfect," Peter smiled.

"iHOLA BITCHACOS!" Tony entered the room and headed towards the common room.

"What a lovely entrance," Pepper rolled her eyes. "Ew, why are you covered in paint and mud?"

"Chucky almost killed me at paintball," Tony pouted and pointed at Natasha, who was a few steps behind him.

"No, No, No," Natasha crossed her arms. "I did not almost kill you. First off, you suck at paintball, and second, it's not MY fault you fell on your face into the mud while running away from me, so NATURALLY, I continued shooting you while you struggled to stand back up. Quite a scene, wish you all were there to watch."

"HE DID WHAT?"Rhodey started cracking up.

"Fell on his face," Nat smirked. "I also teamed up with a 12-year old that was there for whatever reason and they too beat the crap out of Stark."

"A WHO DID WHAT?" Peter and Pepper starting cracking up. Even Happy couldn't help but giggle.

"This is a personal attack!" Tony protested but was barely heard over the laughing. "I AM A VICTIM OF A HATE CRIME!"
