Chapter 4

Y/N POV-

A month had passed since we went out and we all got busy with the mock exams. The exams ended in a week and Mr Hoseok called us in for a special announcement.

"Students, it is that time of the year that you are most excited for. The school fest is coming up!" He said.

"Yay!" All the students cheered with excitement.

"It is a week from today and to prepare for the day, no classes will continue." Mr Hoseok announced.

"YAY!" Everyone's voices erupted.

"But you'll have surprise tests as soon as the fest ends." He said.

"Aww..." Everyone sulked.

"I want all of you to enjoy your time." Mr Hoseok said smiling his heart smile.

It was around recess that Yoonji dragged me to somewhere. She had to take part in a play that was supervised by Mr Hoseok because he asked her to.

"Y/N, please help me." She whispered to me before she opened the door to the huge auditorium.

"But-" I was cut off by her pulling me inside with her.

"Yoonji, you're here! Go read the script with the rest of the characters quickly, we're gonna start rehearsing soon." Mr Hoseok said.

"Ah, I was wondering if Y/N could get a role in this as well," Yoonji said to Mr Hoseok.

"Yes, actually we do need a person to be up for Jungkook's bride." Mr Hoseok said.

"B-Bride?" I stuttered as I processed those words in my head.

"Yeah! She'll do it!" Yoonji said as she quickly tugged my arm.

"Uh, um okay..." I said agreeing to play the role.

"Great! Here's the script for you and this is for you Yoonji." Mr Hoseok handed us our roles.

We went up the stage where the rest of the actors were standing and memorizing their lines. I went through my set of dialogues, they weren't many but it was a little embarrassing to act it out. Especially the cheesy part, I didn't think I'll ever get this without stuttering a few times.

"Now, students, get in position! We'll start from the last as it has the most dialogues. The characters for the last scene are Sun Hee and Justin, who are Jungkook and Y/N." Mr Hoseok said.

"Yes." We said as we came to the centre of the stage and the spotlight beamed on us.

"Act 3 scene 5 of 'The Queen Of Bang Flower's Goblin' ACTION!"

Jungkook walked up to me and looked me into the eyes passionately.

"I choose you. Because what I see in you is the reflection of my best and worst times. So from this moment on, you have to think only of me. Look only at me, be mine only. I promise to take care of you." Jungkook said as he took a step closer to me and held me by my shoulders.

It looked so real that I wanted to cry out my heart to show him how much I needed those words he just spoke. I would be lost forever in the moment if he didn't proceed to hold me. My heart ached as soon as he did that. 'But why?'

"I hold my heart to you, do you accept it?" He asked.

"I... accept, your majesty... I'll be yours and yours only..." I spoke as my heart pumped violently in my chest and my ears and face burned up.
