Chapter 9

Day 2 -

"Why did you suddenly go to the rooftop last night?" Yoonji asked as we both sat at the restaurant area.

"I just needed some air. Why were you awake?" I asked.

"I heard her making a fuss in the hallway," Yoonji said looking in the direction of a girl behind me.

It was the same girl that I saw yesterday with Jungkook.

"Do you know her?" I asked Yoonji.

"Well, everyone knows her. Her name is Kim Seohee, she's known for, you know, dating the richest and most handsome guys of our school. But her relationships don't last long 'cause she often cheats. She's still liked by many cause she's pretty and guys often accept her confession because of that. I think yesterday she was whining because she was rejected or something." Yoonji explained.

"But why do you ask?" Yoonji asked taking a sip of her coffee.

"I saw her yesterday at the rooftop with Jungkook," I said.

"WHAT?!" Yoonji exclaimed making me almost choke on my food.

"Do you think she asked him out?" I asked.

"It is possible. Tch, that dirty-minded b*tch thinks she can trap him too?" She said.

"..." I said nothing thinking about it.

'So that was the reason Jungkook asked me for answers yesterday...'

"Hey, there cutie." A voice came from beside me.

'Then, what did Jungkook tell her? What if they're already dating? But then, why would he do what he did yesterday?'

"I think you're hot, wanna hang out?"

"Who the heck are you?" Yoonji said.

'Then... is it okay if I keep my promise or not?' I sipped my drink without paying attention to whatever that was going on here.

"Well, you're a hot chick as well there."

"Do you want to die or what?" Yoonji said.

"Hey hey, we're just checking you out now." Someone said as they placed a hand on my shoulder.

Yoonji banged on the table and stood up. It caused me to look up, interrupting my trail of thoughts. I looked at the hand on my shoulder and up to their face, I stared at them emotionless. It was a group of about 4 guys. One of them had his hand on my shoulder. He looked a little disappointed before someone stepped in between us.

"Hands off," Jungkook said glaring at the said guy.

"What's wrong with you?" The guy said in a pissed tone.

Jungkook grabbed his hand which was on my shoulder. I could see the veins of his hand pop up meaning he was gripping it quite tightly.

"What the ****?!" The guy cursed.

Jungkook threw his hand off me and pushed him to the wall. Although I couldn't see the expression on Jungkook's face, I could tell he was quite furious.

"Break this sh*t bag's arm, Jungkook," Yoonji said throwing death glares at them.

Jungkook punched him as soon as Yoonji said that. The other guys also stepped in trying to catch Jungkook. Jungkook skillfully punched and kicked them out of his way. Then he went for the guy who touched me and twisted his arm to his back. The guy tried to knee Jungkook but he dodged it. As the other guys were hitting him from the back, Yoonji came in and kicked a guy in the abdomen. He clutched his stomach and fell to the ground. Soon, Jimin and Taehyung also joined kicking and punching those guys. The first guy managed to land a punch on Jungkook's face but he soon punched him back.
