Jungkook's POV-

'I can't hold it back, the you who is crying... I want to cry instead. I couldn't, but... you make me begin...'

I heard a knock on my door.

"Come in," I said thinking it would be someone from the house staff to bring me food.

"Jungkook Ah, I have something for you." Namjoon Hyung said as he opened the door.

"What is it?" I asked as I looked at him through the window from my balcony to the room.

"I found it just now, but Jungkook what are you doing sitting there alone in the dark?" Namjoon Hyung asked walking closer to the door.

"Nothing, I was just... you know thinking about stuff," I said turning back to stare at the sky.

"You can share it with me if you'd like to." Namjoon Hyung said sitting down beside me on the bench.

"*sigh* Hyung, I'm just confused. Whatever I'm doing doesn't seem right, but what I want to do is so out of reach that I can't even see it in my future..." I replied hesitantly.

"Jungkookie, if you want to follow a different way, you need to find another because the truth is, that is our destiny." Namjoon Hyung said softly comforting me.

"Someone once said, 'With your falling eyes look at the night sky again, It'll show you your window, your time. Look at the flashing lights one more time, the night view is not so cruel.'" He continued.

"...I guess so. I just couldn't get why I was feeling such sudden emotions..." I replied.

"You've got to trust those feelings if you want to because there's no use regretting later... I just want you to be alright Jungkook ah." He said.

"Hyung, I'm fine. You don't have to worry." I said assuredly.

"I hope that as well." Namjoon Hyung said after exhaling a deep breath.

"Ah, you said you had something for me right?" I asked turning my head to him trying to change the subject.

"Yeah, I've got you an interesting book." He said as his eyes glistened with joy.

"Book? Namjoon Hyung, you haven't got me another 'A guide to Math' or 'Improve your English' kinda book right? 'Cause I get bored reading that stuff..." I said.

"No, It's an interesting novel. Here." He said as he gave me the old shabby looking hardcover novel.

"A novel? And it looks really old... 'La Città di smeraldo?' It's French..." I said awkwardly.

"Mhm!" Hyung nodded like a child.

"Where did you even find it?" I asked.

"I found it when I accidentally broke a drawer..." Namjoon Hyung said guiltily.

"Ah, that reminds me I still haven't got it fixed and my room is a mess!" He continued.

"Jungkook, take care of yourself and don't think about it too much. Thinking of 'don't think' is thought itself you know." Hyung said patting my head and giving me his dimple smile.

"Goodnight, Hyung," I said after a nod.

"Goodnight Jungkookie." He soon left my room.

[A few days after the school fest]

I walked into the class just before the bell rang and Mr Hoseok entered. The class settles down and Mr Hoseok started taking attendance. He read out the students names and stopped at Y/N's name when there was no response. I looked at her seat to find it empty.
