Chapter 8

Day 1

"Hey, Jungkook! Why were you late?" Yoonji asked Jungkook who sat beside her in the next row.

"I went to check on someone..." Jungkook said glancing at me.

"*sigh* You're so strange. Anyway, you should thank Y/N because she was the one who noticed you run after the bus." Yoonji said.

"It's not like that... I just happened to look there at that time." I said.

"Thank you," Jungkook said looking outside the window.

"..." I said nothing but nodded.

We arrived at the beach after an hour of the journey. I got out of the bus as it stopped at the bus stop along with others. The sun shone brightly on the sand reflecting a golden colour, the water was blue and matched perfectly with the clear sky. The cool breeze along with the smell of the ocean filled my nose as I took a deep breath. There were fewer people around at this time of the year so it was easier to walk around. Jungkook, Jimin and Taehyung ran towards the sea as soon as they got down the bus.

"Stop! Jungkook!" Mr Hoseok said.

But they showed no signs of stopping and splashed themselves in water.

 Seeing them, many other students also did the same.

"Come on, I even explained the tour plan!" Mr Hoseok said.

I walked to the shore and felt the warm sand and gentle waves by my feet. I felt the vibes of this place already. The three boys played happily in the water like kids. They even pulled Yoonji and threw her into the water. She got super mad obviously.

Everyone was happy and enjoyed their time swimming in the water, playing with water guns and building sandcastles. They rolled around in the sand and destroyed each other's sandcastles.

"Ah, There's sand in my eyes!" Jungkook said.

"Here, have more!" Jimin said as he threw a handful of sand at Jungkook.

"Ahaha!" They laughed and continued playing.

I stood under an umbrella and watched them.

"Aren't you going in with them?" A voice said from beside me.

"Mr Jin, you're here too?" I said.

"-_- I came in the same bus as you guys I was sitting right in front of your seat. Don't tell me you didn't notice my presence even the slightest until now." Jin said.

"I'm sorry I didn't," I said.

"*sigh* No problem just go play with your gang." He said palming his face.
