Chapter 13

   Around evening, I woke up from my deep sleep. I opened my eyes to Jungkook sitting on the couch opposite to the bed. I quickly got up seeing him. He noticed that I did and came towards me.

"Y/N, are you feeling alright?" He said as he held my back and helped me sit up.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I fell asleep while waiting for you to come home." I said smiling a little.

"...I'm back," Jungkook said smiling back.

"Can you help me walk to the balcony? I think I need some fresh air." I said.

Jungkook nodded and helped me stand up with my crutches. He walked me to the balcony and I sat on the bench outside there. I looked at the sky making a purple and blue hue. Jungkook sat beside me.

"I have been meaning to tell you this since way before..." Jungkook said causing me to look at him.

"Y/N..." Jungkook turned me towards him and said.

He rested his forehead on my shoulder and held my hands in his. My heartbeat fastened making my cheeks burn up. His soft breath hit my neck making me even more nervous. I stayed still waiting for him to say what he wanted to.

"I don't want you to get hurt, I don't want to see that guy again. I promise I will run to save you from anyone, anywhere, anytime... even if it means I could lose everything I had. Because... I like you... no, I love you... and I won't ever stop..." He said.

My eyes widened and I couldn't say anything. Jungkook lifted his head and looked at me directly in my eyes. 'Ah, there it is, his sincere look when he looks at me with those eyes... Do you think I can avert mine from yours when you're pulling me in like that? You're so unfair...'

"But- you liked Kim Seohee right?" I asked.

"What? No, what gave you the idea?" Jungkook asked.

"That day when we were at the beach resort, she asked you out, right?" I asked.

"Yes, but I turned her down. Because the one I like is you..." Jungkook said as his cheeks turned light red.

"Oh..." I said.

"So?" He asked.

"Yeah, alright," I said teasing him.

"Alright...?" Jungkook sulkily said as he loosened his grip on my hands.

I smirked before lifting his hung head and kissed his cheek. He looked shocked before I gave him a soft hug. I rested my chin on his shoulder as I embraced him.

"What do you think this means?" I asked him.

I felt his hands hugging me back tightly.

"Hold on... don't say it just yet. I might faint from happiness... but I want to know it for sure..." He said in a tiny voice.

"Jungkook you're so cute," I said after a giggle.

"Y/N, if you feel the same, just hug me tighter. Don't let go." He said.

I hugged him tighter expressing my feelings for him more. And he did too.

"Does this mean I can kiss you?" Jungkook asked still hugging me.

I felt butterflies in my stomach and my ears were probably bright red. I nodded slowly parting from him a little.

"Then... I'm gonna do it..." Jungkook said leaning in closer.
