Chapter 14

Jungkook's POV-

A few days passed since we started going to college. Today was finally a Sunday so we get to rest at home together. We woke up quite late and Y/N made breakfast. We sat watching TV together after we ate our breakfast.

"Kookie, I'll take a shower and then let's go to the convenience store together. I need some stuff." Y/N said.

"Okay," I said and smiled.

   A minute after she went to shower, her phone that was on the coffee table in front of me began to vibrate. I saw the name but it was an unknown number. 'Should I let it ring or pick it up to convey the message? I'll just tell them to call her later and she's busy.' I thought before I answered the call for Y/N.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hello, Sarah? Your voice is coarse, do you have a cold?" An old woman's voice came over the other end.

"Um sorry, but I think you have the wrong number. This isn't Sarah's number." I said.

"...Oh, Sarah! Why don't you take a medicine dear?" They said.

'What the heck...? I don't think they can hear properly...'

"Anyway, I called to remind you to bring back the stuff that you left at the dorm. I have been telling you to get the boxes with your pictures and albums since long! You moved out 3 years ago and still haven't got anything from there." The said and continued nagging.

'Wow, this person doesn't care about what I said at all...'

"I told you this isn't Sarah, please check your number," I said trying to reason with the elder.

"Oh, Sarah! Why don't you take a medicine dear?" They said again.

'That's it.' I hung up and put her phone back on the table. 

   Y/N finished showering and I told her there was a wrong number on her phone. She didn't exactly give me a reaction and we carried on our way to the convenience store. We shopped for daily items for a while and also did some clothes shopping. After we were done, we went to a nearby cafe.

"What will you order?" I asked Y/N.

"Hot chocolate?" She said.

"Hehe okay, I'll get a caramel macchiato," I said after a small chuckle.

I ordered our beverages and after paying, I turned back to look at someone familiar. I almost bumped into them but moved back.

"Ah, Jungkook Sshi!" Seohee said as she saw me in front of me.

"Seohee Sshi," I said politely.

"That was a sudden coincidence. Are you here with someone? If no, then you can hang out with us." She said.

"Thank you but, I am here with someone so I'll have to pass for now," I said faking a smile.

"Aww, okay. No problem, have a nice day." She said.

    I nodded and went back to our table where Y/N was waiting. I placed her hot chocolate and watched her face light up as she smiled. [Food = happiness, Jk] I sat down and took a sip of my drink. We talked for a while and walked down the streets. I spotted a jewellery shop which had a beautiful diamond ring on their display. I stopped walking and stared at it. Y/N who walked a little ahead of me turned around noticing that I stopped.

"Jungkook? What's wrong?" She asked.

I turned my attention to her again and said-

"I'll be back," I said and went inside the store.
