Finn's POV:
We made our way to Nick's apartment. We caught up a little on the ride, and he told me about his new roommate. His name was Joseph. Nick told me was kind of funny and a pretty cool dude, but sometimes he can be a little nosy and annoying, so he warned me to be patient.
When we got home, Joseph was waiting for us in the living room.
"Hey guys! You must be Nick's little bro, Finn! High five, down low! Eyy! I'm Joseph" Joseph said, reaching his palm out for me to high five. ( I truly wheezed when I wrote that. I wanted him to be like that typical straight boy, and that's what I came up with, I really don't know why I did that! Forgive me if I made u vomit! Thanks!)
"It's nice to meet you, Joseph!" I told him, smiling awkwardly at him.
"So, how was the flight?" he asked.
"It was good. I slept almost all the way, to it wasn't very tiring." I responded.
"Hey, we can go to the pizza place down the street, you know, your favorite. You must be hungry and I didn't go to buy groceries, so we don't have anything here!" Nick told me, and I responded with an exciting nod and a big smile.
"Okay, well, let's go! Joseph, wanna come with?" he asked, and I internally face palmed. I did not like him, at all.
"Sure!" he said, almost like he was waiting for us to ask. He took his jacket quickly and we were out.
"So, you know that this year we're invited to Millie's for Christmas, right?" I asked Nick, and he nodded. "Okay, so we need to figure out what to get everyone, what to wear, and something to cook, because we can't go without anything, you know?" I added.
"Well, I got the presents for her mom and her big sister covered. You just have to get something for Millie and Ava. Oh, and Millie's friend, because I heard she was coming, too." He said, and I was very impressed. He must have been as excited as I was. I already got a present for Millie from New York, and for Ava I got a doll with a little kitchen set that was just screaming her name and I knew she would love it.
"For the cooking part, we can make the famous Wolfhard cookies. They're always the best. They'll love it. And for clothing, we can go with the matching Christmas sweaters we got one year from grandma. It'll be hilarious." He said, laughing, but I did not laugh at all.
"So, that's a clear no. Maybe, you don't care about what you look like, but I do, so that's a no!" I told him, and he continued to laugh.
"Okay, then wear what you want to. I'll wear my good sweater, not the one from grandma, because you wanna look good for your girlfriend" he said in a mocking tone.
"Yes, I do want to look good for her, stop judging me, okay?" I said, although I did not care, I wanted to look the best for Millie, even though she did not care what I was wearing, she loved me for me, but I still cared. I smiled thinking of her, and Nick laughed.
"What?" I asked, being confused at first.
"You're so whipped. I couldn't believe I would ever see you like this again. Your face is priceless, I swear." He responded, continuing to laugh.
I just shook my head, and continued to walk, until we got to the pizza place. We ate, and we were out after a short while.
It was night time already, and I went straight to bed, because the next day would be a very important one.
-the next day-
I woke up very excited. It was Christmas! I opened my eyes and went to check my phone, and I had one message. It was from Millie wishing me a Merry Christmas and saying that she couldn't wait to see me today. I smiled widely and texted her back, saying the same.
