Finn's POV:
I was silently sitting on my bed, alone in my dorm room. Gaten and Caleb were out I don't know why, and they left me here. I wasn't in the mood to unpack, so I just lay down and watched some YouTube videos with cats.
Suddenly the door opened and Mary barged in. Before I could sit up and slap Mary for scaring the shit out of me, Millie came in the room.
"Finn?" "Millie?" we said at the same time.
"You two know each other?" Mary asked us with confusion on her face.
"Yes, she sat beside me on the plane! It's a long story actually." I said, chuckling a little at the end and looking at Millie.
"Yeah, it is. I was a little disappointed I didn't get to say goodbye at the airport, but it seems like the universe wanted me to meet you again!" Millie said, smiling.
"Probably..." I said, laughing awkwardly.
We were at this point just staring awkwardly at each other, until finally Mary decided to break the unbearable silence.
"Okay, well I'm glad you met each other already, we should probably head back to our room, you need to unpack your stuff!" she said, waving at Finn and walking out the door.
"Well, I'll see you around! Good luck at unpacking!" I said, smiling.
"You too! Bye!" Millie said, walking after Mary.
That was weird. I didn't expect to see her again, I didn't really think when Mary said that she has a new roommate called Millie, I can't believe I didn't connect the lines. I can be really dumb sometimes.
Millie's POV:
"Soo, that was awkward! You have to tell me the whole story! I can't live without knowing it!" Mary said with curiosity in her voice.
"Okay, so, I almost missed the plane because stupid me forgot to set the alarm 2 hours earlier, and I was running thru the airport like crazy with Sadie on the other line trying to calm me down. I managed to get on the plane, obviously, and when I got to my seat, Finn was seating in it. He apologized and moved and then we started talking. His family came into the discussion and he started sobbing. I panicked and didn't know what to do, so I just hugged him. He continued crying in my shoulder for aprox ten minutes and then we both fell asleep. When I woke up he was fine and eating a pretzel, and he bought me one, too, so we ate and talked some more and that was it." I said, spitting out the whole story, although I didn't really know Mary, she seemed like a nice girl whom I could trust.
She just looked at me with wide eyes, but then her expression softened.
"Yeah, I know his family life is hard. I was kind of his support thru it." She said, with a sympathetic smile on.
"Oh, I didn't know you two were so close! Well, I don't really know you, so that's explicable!" I responded.
"Yeah! And I'm sorry, but I can't explain everything to you. If he wants to, he will. But it's not my place to spread the word of his hard life, you know." She said, looking at me with a genuine sad smile.
"Oh, I totally understand! You really don't have to! Don't worry." I told her, understanding the situation and not wanting to press her or anything.
"And thank you for being there for him, he has panic attacks pretty often, so that really helped him!" Mary thanked me.
"Oh, it's no problem! I'm glad I could help in any way!" I smiled at her.
We arrived at the dorm, and Sadie was there with Noah.
"Where the hell have you been! I was worried sick! You should've told me or something!" she said, clearly worried, but relieved I was safe.
"Well, I wanted to teach you a lesson! You totally left me alone and I wanted to go with Mary! It's not my fault you're not that great of a friend..." I said, at first crossing my arm and looking in another direction, but then laughing.
"Ok, you're right. I'm sorry I left you alone! I was with Noah." She said, pointing at Noah, meaning that she was introducing him.
"Hi! It's so nice finally meet this girl's worldwide known best friend!" Noah said, shaking my hand and laughing.
"It's nice to meet you, too!" I responded smiling. "I'm sorry, but I can't really stay for the tea, I have to unpack everything, but you can talk while I do that!" I told them.
"Well, we met Finn just before we came back, and apparently, Millie already knew him from the plane!" Mary told Sadie and Noah.
"Really? Wait, is he the guy you sat next to?" she said, shocked again.
"Yes." I responded to her kind of stupid question.
"OMG!! I can't believe it! That so crazy! I totally ship you guys already!" Sadie said, jumping up and down around the room.
"Wait, I don't understand what is happening! Can someone explain please?" Noah asked with confusion on his figure.
"So, they sat next to each other on the plane to here and Finn had a sobbing sesh, and Millie comforted him by hugging him, and then they fell asleep like that, and they he bought her a pretzel and they talked and that sound like the perfect romance movie beginning ever!" Sadie explained it in a very interesting way.
"No it isn't, you are delusional!" I told her, slapping her arm.
"Well it really sounds like it to me! But that means I have to enjoy my last days with normal Finn, because love struck Finn is not fun!" Mary said, with a frown, but laughing at the end.
And that made me think a little. He seemed like a really nice and sweet guy. But I couldn't. I had to focus on the schoolwork and schoolwork only. This was my future we were talking about.
But that clearly wasn't going to be the only thing she'll focus her mind on...
A/N Hey guys! So, what do you think? I'm so happy they finally met for reals! I'm so excited to start the cheesy romantic part! Yuhh!! I'll probably update tonight, too, so stay tuned hehe! Love you all and thank you for reading! xx
