Millie's POV:

Christmas time finally arrived after a whole lot of scarring things, and let me tell you, I couldn't wait for it. I was going to fly home on Christmas Eve with Sadie and Finn, to visit our families. Me at mine, Sadie at hers, and Finn was visiting his brother. The rest all planned to stay in New York and go enjoy the city for some time, because during school it's almost impossible.

We were getting ready, packing our bags excitedly. We weren't going to stay for long, just until the second day of Christmas, because we couldn't miss the New Year's countdown from Times Square. It was Sadie's and my first year in New York, and we needed to celebrate with our new friends.

Noah came to our room to keep us company and say his goodbyes, because he had something to do after and he couldn't come with us to the airport.

"I can't believe you two are leaving me in these emotional times! It's very very insensitive!" he said, fake crying.

"Oh, come on, don't make us feel bad for wanting to spend some time with our families! And you'll be just fine! If you get bored or lonely, face time is the key to your happiness. Press one button and you'll see us!" Sadie said, going to hug him.

"Your family is coming to my place just like every other year, right?" I asked Sadie.

"Yup, why?"

"My mom told me to ask you because she said she needed to know how much food and gifts and places at the table she needed to prepare, you know how she is! She wants everything to be just as planned, and I don't want to ruin anything, she really needs this. It's the first year without Charlie and it will be hard for each of us, but I'll be there for her! If everything goes perfectly smooth, she'll be somehow happier!" I said, folding my clothes, and when I turned, Noah and Sadie had those sympathetic expressions that I already got sick of.

"It'll be great, I promise! And I'll help you and your mom with anything you need!" Sadie said, coming closer to hug me.

"Finn and his brother are coming this year, too, so it'll be even more fun!" I informed her.

"The family keeps on growing everybody!" Sadie said, making us laugh.

"Ugh, you'll have so much fun, and I'll be stuck here with all the lovesick ones, it's not fair!" Noah said, frowning and crossing his arms like a little kid.

"Will you stop that already! You're becoming really annoying and I feel like I'm going to explode! Just try to make conversation, meet people, make new friends, you'll figure it out, I promise." I told him, reaching out my arms for a group hug.

"Fine, I'll be okay! You two have the best time, if you don't, I'll beat your asses, but not too much, either! I'm looking at you Millie" Noah told us, me hitting his arm for the last part.

"And just enjoy the time with your families. You know, you could've asked me to come with, but you're too selfish to think about poor little Noah!" he said, the instant response being me and Sadie hitting his arms at the same time, but then laughing. "It's fine, I have the show tonight and tomorrow, so you have an excuse. But next year, I will come with or without your permissions!" he told us.

"It's fine by me! Sadie?" I asked, turning to face Sadie.

"Deal!" she said, and then Noah started smiling like a child that was handed candy.

We laughed some more, and then Noah had to go prepare for his show. He was in a dancing program at NYU, and he had this show that was super important for his career he said. I wanted to see him so bad, but we had to go to LA.

After he left, we continued our packing, which took us way longer than we expected because we started remembering about past Christmases and then we cried a lot, laughed, and that blew up our schedule.
