Logan's Point of View

"Whoa!" I said ducking out of the way, Collin pulled me back and got out of the way of another knife swing. Red stood there, with her eyes widened, however...

"M-Matt..." She said, shaking.

"Matthew, stop!" She yelled out.

'Matthew? Wait...!' I thought for a minute, but I saw the attacker, brown hair. His skin was stained with dust, and his knuckles white from gripping the knife handle, but his eyes... Wouldn't they be a different color instead of blood red?

"Matthew, stop it! This isn't you!" Collin called out to his friend. Red was shocked as she was looking at the blade, blood dripping onto the blue waters below.

"Red, come here!" I yelled at her.

"Matthew!" I hear Collin yell once again.

"I'm no longer him...!" Matthew's voice sounded deeper, his red eyes glowed.

"Matthew, please." Collin pulled his friend's arm back from killing Red, but Matthew just turned and punched the guy's arm. Collin yelped out in pain, holding his bruised arm. Matthew turned to Red and Collin, now about to kill them.

"STOP!" I yelled, being in the way of Matthew, whose arm was held back with the knife in his hand.

"Don't do it! We're your friends! Please! This isn't you! Matthew, where are you?!" I yelled out saddened.

Matthew's eyes flashed from red to its normal color, his hard expression softening, but only for a moment before returning to his terrifying face.

"He's dead." He said as he brought the knife down, no pain, I didn't feel anything, just a gasp of the man in front of me and a splash. Matthew stood there, looking at me with fear in his eyes. He had dropped the knife in the water and was looking at the dust on his hands.

His once murderous expression turned to sorrow, and his red eyes turned to his normal color. I thought I heard the sound of someone running away, but maybe it was all in my mind.

"W-where am I? What happened? Collin? Logan? Red? Why did I have a knife in my hands? Why was I about to...? To..." He starts as tears showed in Matthew's eyes.

"Stab him...?" He asks, looking at me, tears blocking his vision.

"Matthew, it's not your fault, it's-" I started, but Matthew sprinted back the way we came suddenly.

"Matthew!" Collin called out.

"Hey, Logan, Collin, stay here, okay? Watch for monsters. I will handle this, okay." Red said volunteering, as we nodded at her.

Red's Point of View

Soon I walked back through the blue waters, in search of the brown-haired man. I walked past a pile of trash before noticing sniffles coming from behind it. I saw Matthew curled up in a corner, wiping tears that were going down his face.

"I... I'm sorry..." He said sniffling.

"Matthew, it's okay." I softly spoke, rubbing his shoulder.

"I could've killed him! I could've killed Collin! And I could've killed you! I could've taken a life." He tells me.

"But you didn't." I said smirking. He looked up at me, his eyes widened.

"T-thank you, Red." He said, getting up, and giving me a smile, as I got up as well.

"Hey, sorry for almost you know... Killing you..." He said scratching the back of his head, tears almost gone.

"It's fine. Now, we should head back to the others." I said smirking, with Matthew nodding at me. Matthew, and I walked back to meet up with Logan and Collin.

Logan's Point of View

Once Red and Matthew got back, Collin and I turned to them, we were happy to see another friend safe. When Collin and Matthew bear hugged, Matthew coughed.

"I- Can't- Breathe...!" Matthew said coughing and pretending to limp to Collin's tight grip. Then Red and I laughed as Collin pretended to wipe a tear.

Soon Matthew and I hugged with Red still laughing at Collin's 'sad' face. After a whole Matthew and I hugged, when we let go, I looked at him concerned.

"Are you alright?" I asked him in concern, and he nods.

"If it weren't for your girlfriend, I wouldn't be. It's good that you have her around. I would keep her if I were you." Matthew whispers to me, and I nodded.

"Field Trip!" Collin said smiling as we walked through the door, we walked through the area and found a huge neon grassy path. I hear Red giggle once again as I poked one of the little squeaky mushrooms, which showed the way. Then the grass turned darker, and I couldn't see.

"Hey Logan!" Matthew called out from behind me. The light suddenly came back, Matthew was still near a lamp, as he grinned.

"Thanks!" I said smiling, Red and Collin sprinted along the path to find more lamps.

"Through here!" Collin said, with the four of us walked across the creaky bridge.

"WHAT IN THE WORLD!" Red said nearly falling off after tripping, but Matthew caught her.

"You, okay?" He asked her with concern.

"Yeah." She said semi-smiling at him.

"Yo!" The monster kid that had been with Collin grinned from the other side of the bridge; he ran up to us.

"Yo, I know I'm not supposed to be here, but... Man, I've never had to ask this before..." He said looking up at Collin nervously.

"You, you're human right? Man! I knew it! Well, I know it now, I mean... Undyne told me to stay away. She said one of your friends hurt a lot of people." The monster said smiling, but Matthew looked down in sorrow, as the monster continued.

"I guess that makes us enemies or something. I kind of stink at that... Yo, say something so I can hate you?" He asked us.

"Um..." Collin said tilting his head.

"Your head is... Uh... Round?" Collin says unsure if that would work.

"That's your idea of something mean. My sister says that to me ALL THE TIME. Guess I'll have to do it. He, ha. I... Hate your guts. Man, I'm such a turd." It said looking down.

"No, you're not." I said knelling down and rubbed the little monster's head with Red nodding at the kid as she pats Matthew's back, Collin smiled down at us.

"Thank you!" The monster leaned into whisper in my ear.

"You're awesome." He said and smiled as the monster ran away.

"Wait, kiddo-" Red called out as the monster tripped, hanging only by his tail.

"Yo, w-w-w-wait! I tripped! Help!" We could hear the knight's armor was at the end, if we didn't hurry, we'd be dead.

I looked at Red and she looked at me with concern, as I looked back at the knight to the monster and sprinted forwards.

"Logan, wait!" Matthew called out, but I was already carrying the monster up to the surface. I pulled him up, falling down as he hopped onto the surface.

The knight, Undyne, was already over me as I lay on the wood, her spear raised. The monster stood in front of me, acting as my only defense.

"Don't hurt him!" He screamed, but her spear was already high and raised, the monster too short to defend me.

"Stop!" Someone said as I felt someone help me up, and I looked to see Matthew, in front of me and protecting me, a save for a save. Undyne was hesitating, seeing the monster protect the both of us.

"You wouldn't hurt a monster!" Collin yelled out, holding the monster kid in his arms, standing in front of Matthew, and I. Red stood behind Collin in defense.

"You wouldn't hurt another monster, would you?" Red said, still standing next to Collin and the Monster kid in defense, as Undyne walked away.
