Logan's Point of View

I stood there backing up a bit, a little shocked.

"Ah..." Asgore's breathing was getting really heavily.

"So, that is how it is." He said.

"I remember the day after my son died. The entire underground was devoid of hope. The future had once again been taken from us by the humans. In a fit of anger, I declared war." Asgore explained as he closed his eyes as he exhaled.

"I said that I would destroy humanity and let monsters rule the surface in peace. I'd use their souls to become godlike... And free them from this terrible prison." Asgore said looking at my friends, fallen and hurt for now.

"Then, I would destroy humanity and let monsters rule the surface in peace. Soon, the people's hopes returned. My wife, however, became disgusted with my actions. She left this place, never to be seen again. Truthfully..." A singel tear came out of Asgore's eye as his voice became shaky.

"I do not want power. I do not want to hurt anyone. I just wanted everyone to have hope... But... I can't take this any longer." He said opening his teary eyes and looked at me.

"I just want to see my wife. I just want to see my child. Please." He pleaded.

"This has gone on for far too long. You have the power. Take my soul and leave this cursed place." He said as his hands shook as he fully let go of the trident.

I looked at my group, lying on the stone ground, badly burnt. My eyes filled with tears when I saw Red, lying there, and probably in less pain now that she has been healed. But her eyes slowly opened, and she gave me a small smile, I shut my eyes.

"No." I said stepping back, dropping the dagger, it hit the ground.

"I can't. I can't do this." I said shaking my head, sadden by this, falling to my knees, my hands on my head. I felt weak... Asgore scooted closer to me.

"After everything I've done to hurt you... You'd rather stay down here and suffer, rather than live happily on the surface?" Asgore asked smiling, my hand laid on my knees.

"Humans, I promise, that for as long as you remain here, my wife and I will take care of you as best we can." Asgorse said smiling.

"We can all sit in the living room, telling stories... Eating butterscotch pie..." Asgore said sniffling, happily.

"We could be like..." Asgore said wiping a tear, the others now fully healed now was sitting beside me, as Red held my hand, smiling at me.

"Like a family..." Suddenly, Asgore's expression turned surprise. I turned around but saw nothing.

"LOGAN!" Red, Juan, and Jonathan yelled, pulling me back as a ring of white dots surrounded the king and closed in. He turned to dust...

"No..." I whispered, my hand reaching out to help him. A single pellet stayed above his shaking heart.

"No!" Red yelled as the pellet shattered the heart into tiny pieces. A familiar flower popped up in front of me, smiling like nothing happened.

"You IDIOT." He yelled.

"W... How...?" Collin whispered.

"You haven't learned a thing." Flowey said giggling.

"It's KILL or BE KILLED." Flowey says as the souls that Asgore had shown us floated around him. Red screamed in worry.

"LOGAN!" She screamed, as I felt a huge headache, and felt my body evaporate.
